1. Catch the View of The City From the Singapore Flyer
The Singapore Flyer, Asia’s largest observation wheel, is on the top of our list of fun things to do in Singapore and is the best spot for a 360-degree panoramic view of this incredible city-state. This enormous wheel, located on Raffles Avenue, sits at an elevation of 165 metres above the ground and is nearly the same height as a 42-story building.
You can ride the Singapore Flyer both day and night. The optimum time to visit would be around sunset when this magnificent island nation reflects all the pink and orange hues as the sun sets. When you reach the top, you’ll have a spectacular view of the Singapore River, Empress Place, Merlion Park, Padang, and Raffles Park. If the weather is clear, and if you’re lucky, you might be able to spot Singapore tourist attractions like the Esplanade or Merlion (even 45 kilometres away) while the sky turns into cotton candy.
If you’re looking for something unique, consider Sky Dining or a Champagne Private Capsule; alternatively, visit the Singapore Flyer Terminal’s Flight Experience simulator or the XD Theatre multi-sensory experience. You can also sign up for Yoga In the Sky. You can add an array of unique experiences to your Singapore itinerary simply by connecting with one of our Local Designers.
2. Take a Stroll in Gardens by the Bay
Gardens by the Bay, without a doubt, is one of the must-visit places in Singapore. The variety of flora on show, as well as the inventive methods in which they are displayed, is breathtaking. Gardens by the Bay are Singapore’s most spectacular green areas, built on 101 hectares of an artificial island.
Supertrees and biodomes are part of this futuristic botanical garden. The 18 Supertrees that rise above the gardens appear like something out of Avatar, especially when they’re lit up during the Garden Rhapsody sound-and-light night show. Huge biodomes emerge out of the greenery, containing approximately 800 plant species from various locations. The Desert Dome features huge cacti, the Cloud Forest Dome boasts a waterfall cascading from a 35-metre mountain, and the Flower Dome recreates a Mediterranean environment with an antique olive grove. Various eccentric sculptures may also be seen around the Gardens, including Mark Quinn’s Planet, a gigantic sleeping baby that appears to float in mid-air.
If you would like something even more special for your Singapore holidays, combine the Gardens by the Bay Evening Tour with a Satay Dinner. During this Singapore tour, you’ll be feasting on juicy satay barbecued over burning charcoal, as well as Hokkien Mee, a popular local noodle dish prepared in a distinctive broth. This delectable supper will be followed by a guided tour of the Gardens by the Bay’s Cloud Forest and Flower Dome, and the evening will be completed with a mesmerising light display at the SuperTree Grove.

3. Admire Marina Bay
Marina Bay, the element of Singapore that qualifies it for consideration on the list of the world’s most contemporary cities, is brimming with architectural marvels. Marina Bay has a lot to please you with, from the best eating options in the neighbourhood and an ultra-luxury hotel to stay at, to an expensive retail complex with a variety of worldwide brands.
One of Singapore’s top observation locations is the SkyPark in Marina Bay Sands. It is located on the 57th level of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and gives you the impression of being on the edge of the world. It is a large wooden deck platform with spectacular 360-degree views of the Singapore cityscape. While watching the sunset, you can take a refreshing dip in the world’s largest rooftop infinity pool. If you want to learn more about the amazing architecture surrounding you, join our 4-Day Singapore Landmarks Tour.
4. Explore the City in a Sidecar
The Joo Chiat/Katong region is not only recognised for its exquisite local cuisine, but it is also famous for its beautiful and decorative shophouses and residential terraces, which have a unique charm.
Many families moved eastward out of the city centre in the 1920s and 1930s to call this area their home. Bungalows, shophouses, and places of worship were constructed as a representation of the multicultural and diverse Peranakan, Eurasian, Malay, Chinese, and Indian communities. Joo Chiat/Katong, sometimes known as “Little Singapore,” is Singapore’s largest architectural preservation zone.
On this 4-Day Singapore City Break Trip, you will explore the neighbourhood in a sidecar, looking for colourful shophouses, trades and crafts of Singapore’s Chinese diaspora, and historical sites – previously packed with coconut plantations and utilised as a weekend hideaway by affluent urban residents.
5. Ride Rollercoasters at Universal Studios Singapore
If you’re looking for a spot to take your family on a vacation, this should be at the top of your list of Singapore attractions. Universal Studios Singapore is a theme park that has an enticing array of attractions, rides, and stimulation for both families and daredevils.
The park is set in a huge 18-acre area with 18 unique activities. The iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame is found in the Hollywood zone. As you go further into New York, the scenery changes to include spectacular metropolitan skylines, as well as a mock-up of a metro station. You can walk onto a movie set and feel the catastrophic power of a hurricane thanks to visual effects created by Steven Spielberg. For fans of science fiction and fantasy, the sci-fi theme park has numerous fantastic rides, including an overlapping rollercoaster ride. 6. Search for Wildlife During Night Safari Singapore
Have you ever thought about what it’s like to go on a nighttime wildlife search? Isn’t that intriguing?
If so, then now is the time to try the night safari in Singapore. The world’s first nighttime zoo; Night Safari has become a thriving success attracting visitors from all over the world. Nestled in 40 hectares of secondary forest, Night Safari uses breathtaking visual effects to reveal the mystery and action of the tropical jungle after nightfall.
Under mild moonglow light, you’ll witness a variety of nocturnal animals in their native environment, from powerful predators to shy woodland inhabitants. From the Himalayan Foothills to the Southeast Asian Rainforest and the Indian Subcontinent, you’ll travel past a vast pond and zigzag through ecosystems meant to emulate the natural environment.
The Malayan tiger, Asian elephants, and Tapir are just a few of the endangered creatures that have made this territory their permanent home. You can take a 35-minute tram or explore the forest through walking trails, where you will come across a variety of friendly creatures. Because many animals are overlooked on trams, walking excursions are significantly more popular. You can also take a leisurely stroll to two massive aviaries to observe the flying squirrels and flying foxes in action. Experience the night safari during our 6-Day Singapore Package for Families!
7. Immerse Yourself in Nature and Culture in Pulau Ubin
Pulau Ubin, situated off Singapore’s north-eastern shore, combines nature and culture. This serene island haven, just a 15-minute bumboat ride from Changi Point Ferry Terminal, is among the favourite Singapore tourist spots for nature enthusiasts and day-trippers looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis.
Visitors to the island can enjoy these historical structures, as well as coconut rubber plantations, fish farms, and Singapore’s sole intact kampong (traditional village). Aside from offering a glimpse into Singapore’s history, Pulau Ubin is home to a broad range of ecosystems and fauna. Take a day trip to this lovely island and see everything that it has to offer on this customisable Singapore tour.
8. Try Singapore’s Cuisine on a Foodie Tour
Singapore’s cultural diversity is mirrored in its variety of local cuisines, which includes Chinese, Malay, Indian, and Peranakan. The lively Geylang Serai Market is located in the centre of the Malay population and specialises in Malay and Indian food. The popular market contains a wet area offering fresh items ranging from live fish to spices, as well as an upper-level food centre.
During your trip to Singapore, you should definitely take part in a food tour, such as the Heritage Foodelicious Tour that can be customised to your liking by our Local Designers in Singapore. During the tour, you will be able to enjoy Singaporean classics like Roti Prata and Thosai with a foamy drink of Teh Tarik.
The Joo Chiat/Katong area, traditionally affiliated with Peranakan and Eurasian cultures, is a goldmine full of history and picture-perfect architecture of pre-war buildings.
This neighbourhood is famed among Singaporeans for its Laksa, Ondeh-ondeh, and other delights. If you’re fortunate, you’ll get to see popiah experts twisting dollops of dough in mid-air to produce those paper-thin wraps for fresh spring rolls.
9. Get Creative During a Street Art Tour and Graffiti Workshop
As you explore the nooks and crannies of Kampong Glam, you will be surrounded by brightly coloured fabrics and tapestries, Persian carpets, and jewels.
Learn about the people that lived in this “Arab Kampong,” as well as the stories of a notable pioneer Arab family who had an MRT station named after them. With the scent of coffee floating in the air, you can visit one of the most popular coffee shops and witness the roasting of their coffee beans. What’s more, you’ll also meet one of Singapore’s last traditional groomers on that little street.
The graffiti workshop, where you may let your creative and artistic juices flow, really is the highlight of this tour. You’ll learn the ins and outs of graffiti spray painting as you work hands-on with a street-art artist to create your own masterpiece.
While unauthorised street art and graffiti remain illegal (penalty includes caning and jail time), this special family graffiti spray-painting event is completely legal and allowed!
You can participate in this workshop as a part of our 6-Day Singapore Explorer.
10. Walk Around Little India
On a walking tour of this beloved ethnic district, you will experience the enchantment of Little India. You’ll follow your knowledgeable local guide through small alleys and pre-war shopping streets and wander the five-foot-ways, where sellers sell spices, gold, flower garlands, and saris. Then, you’ll explore the wet market and stop by the stalls selling fresh fruits and vegetables, herbs, and meat.
