Monday 2nd August 2021 officially marks the day and we couldn’t be more thrilled to announce that Tripfuser is rebranding to Designer Journeys. 

The key driver of our rebrand to Designer Journeys was to fulfil the need to better communicate our unique designer travel proposition to the travel market and the expertise, skills and effort that goes into designing each and every one of our extraordinary travel experiences. 

Our dedicated team has spent the entire pandemic working hard behind the scenes to bring this brand to fruition and we couldn’t be more excited to tell you all about it!

Why We Rebranded

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the now Designer Journeys team undertook a strategic review of the business, taking a look at our brand position, what services and products we can offer travellers and travel agents and our team structure. 

The company’s rebrand and transition from Tripfuser to Designer Journeys was driven by this review and the need to emphasise the unique and premium nature of the travel design service we offer. Designer Journeys is committed to designing, building and delivering extraordinary travel experiences.

What Changed in the Rebrand

Having evolved from Tripfuser, Designer Journeys launches with a completely new look and feel. We will still deliver the same great service from the same dedicated team of travel professionals, with a few key changes.

At the core of our offering is our global network of Local Designers. Previously known as our Local Suppliers or Local Experts, we changed this terminology during the rebrand to better convey the unique experiences they deliver and to communicate the immense effort that goes into designing and building these extraordinary travel experiences. 

With this change, Designer Journeys now effectively communicates the expertise and skills of our Local Designers much more clearly, conveying the premium nature and uniqueness of the service we offer our customers.

Throughout the process, you’ll receive digital, bookable travel itineraries that you can share with your friends and family in a couple of clicks.

Whether you are designing a trip from scratch or customising a trip from one of our galleries, our Local Designers build custom travel experiences and curate travel packages powered by their local knowledge and insight into their country. 

To begin your journey, simply start by exploring our gallery of nearly 2,000 fully customisable trips designed by our in-destination Local Designers. Alternatively, you can design your trip from scratch by answering some simple questions to begin your journey.

Next, you’ll connect with one of our extraordinary Local Designers who will work with you to design your extraordinary trip itinerary based on your desires, needs and requirements. Our Local Designers have been through a rigorous application process to be able to begin providing unique experiences for our community of Travellers so your trip will be in very good hands. 

No request is too big or too small for our Local Designers and they will work with you alongside our dedicated Travel Concierge to design your perfect trip. Once you are completely happy, you can book with confidence through our safe and secure platform.

Our Local Designers are hand-selected, deeply knowledgeable local travel experts in-destination that deliver unique experiences for travellers every day. They include in-destination inbound travel agents, tour operators, destination management teams and accommodation providers that build custom travel experiences and curate travel packages with their local knowledge and insight into their country. 

To become a Designer Journeys Local Designer, applicants go through a rigorous selection process to ensure they are reliable, vetted, trustworthy and deliver quality travel experiences every time. Only when they have passed this process, provided strong evidence of quality traveller feedback and necessary accreditations do they become a Designer Journeys’ Local Designer.
