Today, you will leave Tokyo behind as you head to Nikko, a town famous for its lavishly decorated shrine.s Upon arrival, you'll have the entire day free to explore the many exciting and famous places including the Shinkyo Bridge. You can also visit the Rinno Ji Temple, the Nikko Toshogu Shrine, the Toshogu Art Museum, Nikko Futarasan Jinja Shrine and the Tamozawa Imperial Villa. To end the day, take a relaxing walk along the Daiya River.

Today, you'll continue your exploration of Nikko and its surroundings at your own pace. Why not visit Chuzenji Lake, which is a body of water at the foot of Mount Nantai? It was formed over 20,000 years ago as a result of a volcanic eruption and is the highest lake in Japan with a height of 1,269 meters above sea level. There's also the opportunity to visit Ryuzu Waterfalls, Kegon Waterfalls, and Chuzenji Buddhist Temple. In the afternoon, you'll return to Tokyo.

You can spend the morning at your leisure in Hakone. Why not explore Gora Park near Hakone and take a stroll in the park's beautiful alleys? You can also attend a Japanese tea ceremony for JPY 700 or learn the secrets of hand-blown glass here.
