10-Day Vietnam to Laos Mountain Discovery

Customisable Itinerary
4.1 • 3 travellers have booked with Huong N.

Trip Overview

The mountains of Vietnam and Laos are where traditions are held close to the heart and are more transparent than what you see in the big city.

Starting in Hanoi, you'll see the essentials of this 1000-year-old city before you head up into the mountains to Sapa, a tourist hub and the best introduction to the various tribes that call both Vietnam and Laos home. You'll travel across the highest pass in Vietnam to reach Dien Bien Phu, a historical landmark itself before you go across the border to Laos.

In Laos, life moves at a slower pace, the people are peaceful and towns and villages quiet. Life is simple in Laos, but the people are welcoming and humble, so you'll quickly feel at home. Your journey to Luang Prabang via several villages where you'll meet the locals and learn about their culture.

Luang Prabang is a stunning city and the gateway to Kuang Si Waterfalls and Pak Ou Caves, Laos' most famous attractions, along the way to both, you'll spend some more time in small villages.

This tour from Hanoi to Luang Prabang has you steeped in culture deep in the mountains.
