One of the most popular trips is to meet the extraordinary pink river dolphins on a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The pink river dolphin is a rare species found in the freshwater rivers of the Amazon near Iquitos, Peru.

Today you have yet another day to take full advantage of the numerous activities and excursions available on your Amazon jungle cruise. You can choose from water activities including fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking, or land activities such as canopy walking, trail trekking and so much more. If you haven't had a chance to, it is highly recommended that you take a trip to meet the extraordinary pink river dolphins!

Today is the last day of your wonderful Delfin Amazon Cruise. You will have time for a short excursion en route to Iquitos and your flight to Lima. You have a short layover and then a flight upward to lofty Cusco in the Andes Mountains. Here, you will be collected at the airport and escorted to your Cusco hotel.

This morning, you'll head out on a privately guided tour to the mysterious ruins at Moray, once used as an Inca crop laboratory. You'll then visit the Andean community of Misminay and share their tasks with local inhabitants, who still preserve ancient Inca traditions. Your final visit is to the large ruins of Ollantaytambo, one of the last stands of the Inca Pachacuiti against the Spanish conquistadors in 1536.

Machu Picchu was revealed to the world, when the famous historian, explorer and archaeologist Hiram Bingham stumbled upon the site whilst on an expedition in 1911. Today, your expert guide will escort you on a 2.5-hour privately guided insightful and vivid tour of this UNESCO World Heritage site. The private tour includes stops at the Caretakers Hut, Temple of the Sun, the Royal Tomb, Three Windowed Temple, Intihuatana/Solar Clock, and the quarry.

You'll have a free morning to explore Machu Picchu once again if you wish to. This is your opportunity to visit some of the other attractions that are not included on the standard tour. The entrance to Machu Picchu Mountain Trek will be included, tickets to Machu Picchu Mountain are subject to availability. In the evening, you'll take the luxury Hiram Bingham Train to Poroy Station, the train includes a four-course dinner with regional wines and live entertainment.

You'll have a free morning to relax. In the afternoon, you will explore the city of Cusco, known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here you will start your tour at the iconic San Pedro market, a local market where you can see the colours, flavours and traditions of modern Cusco. The visit continues with Koricancha Temple, the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Q’enqo archaeological site and the Plaza de Armas (main square), where you will visit the beautiful Cathedral.
