Today, you'll leave Negombo behind and travel to Sigiriya. En route, there are various stops you can take a break at. Upon arrival, you'll visit the impressive Sigiriya Rock which stands out as a unique shape in an otherwise flat plain. When climbing the steps, you will notice colourful frescoes with unique paintings of women and a mirror wall, full of written verses from visitors. The area around Sigiriya may have been inhabited since prehistoric times. You'll have dinner at your hotel.

Following breakfast at the hotel, you'll head out with your guide and driver to visit Polonnaruwa Ancient City. Polonnaruwa is regarded as one of the best archaeological sites, and the most beautiful city's in the country. After lunch at a restaurant of your choice, you'll head to Minneriya National Park to head out on a wildlife safari where you'll hope to spot lots of elephants. You'll head back to the hotel to relax and have dinner.

Leaving Sigiriya behind, you'll make your way to Kandy, the capital of the Hill Country, steeped in history and culture. On the way, visit Matale Spice Garden to learn about Sri Lanka's infamous spice production. After some time to rest, you'll visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic, a sacred site to Buddhists, home to Buddha's tooth. Set on Kandy Lake, you can walk around the city after the tour before heading to your hotel for dinner.

Later, you'll return to your hotel in the late afternoon and relax before dinner!

Today, you'll make the journey to Colombo at a leisurely pace. Your first stop is on the Madu River where you'll hop in a boat to go through the mangroves to learn about the unique ecosystems that thrive in this part of Sri Lanka. Continuing with the nature theme, you'll then stop at a turtle hatchery to learn about the conservation efforts on these beaches to ensure the turtles are safe. If you are lucky, some may be released into the sea that day! A mesmerising experience!
