Today, you'll have the day free to spend as you wish on Mozambique Island. You can spend your free time discovering this historical Island, and old Portuguese trading post en route to India. You can explore the old buildings and architecture of the area. You can try the traditional Mussiro, a natural beauty treatment you apply to your skin, and even watch the traditional Tufo dance of Arabic origin.

This morning, after breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport in Nampula. From here, you'll catch a plane to Beira. Your driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your lodge in the Gorongosa National Park. Upon arrival, you'll settle into the lodge and enjoy dinner before your exciting day of adventure tomorrow.

Today, you'll embark on a morning game drive in the Gorongosa National Park. The qualified safari guides will take you on an open game drive vehicle through a diversity of habitat, wildlife and outstanding birdlife. Then, after lunch, you'll spend the afternoon at your own leisure. This is the perfect opportunity to embark on a canoeing safari on the Pungue River.

Walking is the perfect way to experience the beauty and wilderness of Gorongosa Park. The qualified and experienced guides will take you on an exciting walking safari through a diversity of habitat, wildlife and birdlife. Botanical wonders, the art of tracking, hidden paths and the exhilaration of being on foot close to large animals are some of the highlights of walking in Gorongosa. You'll have the afternoon free which presents the perfect opportunity for an afternoon game drive.

This morning, you'll depart the Gorongosa National Park after breakfast and travel to the beach town of Vilanculos, arriving in the late afternoon. After checking in, the rest of your day will be free to spend as you wish. You'll be staying at the gorgeous Bahia Mar Boutique Hotel, so why not take a wander down to the water's edge and see the fisherman bringing in their days catch.

Today, you'll leave your resort to discover Bazaruto Island on a day trip on a dhow (traditional boat). Throughout the day, you'll enjoy snorkelling in the clear warm Indian Ocean, discovering the many fish species found in the area. You'll also enjoy a seafood lunch on the beach and some more water time in the afternoon.

Today, you'll have the day free to spend as you wish. You can spend the morning relaxing on the white beaches of Vilanculos and swimming in the clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean. In the afternoon, you'll have the option to go horseriding on the beach. The ride incorporates all the wonderful eco-systems in the archipelago; wide-open beaches, incredible clifftop views, pristine dune bush and mangrove shoreline.

Today will be free to spend at your own leisure. Why not book a boat trip to Santa Carolina Island, the most remote and only deserted island in the archipelago. You'll stroll through the historic remnants of an old abandoned hotel and enjoy a freshly cooked meal on the open fire. You can also go snorkelling straight off the beach and enjoy exploring the amazing coral reef which surrounds Santa Carolina.
