10-Day Tropical Escape to Palawan

This morning, according to your flight schedule, your driver will pick you up and bring you to Manila airport. You'll take a domestic flight from Manila to Puerto Princesa. Upon arrival in Puerto Princesa, you'll meet your driver and drive to Sabang. The road is a small track with concrete but the surrounding scenery is beautiful! Upon arrival, you'll settle into your hotel and rest ahead of the next few days of exploring Sabang.

Today, you'll leave in the morning for the Sabang Underground River, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll set out to explore the river by kayak with a local English-speaking guide. Going through this impressive cave on your kayak is a surreal experience. Along the way, you'll keep an eye out for the monkeys hanging around by the riverside. You'll return to your hotel just in time for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing.

Today, you'll enjoy breakfast at your hotel before heading out for a day of boating to explore the beautiful Ulugan Bay. Keep your eyes open and you may be lucky enough to see the island's superb sea eagle. For lunch, your guide will prepare a delicious picnic on a beautiful sandy beach, a very intimate setting. Then, you can put on your snorkelling mask and hop in the water to discover the effervescent underwater life of the archipelago.

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll embark on a private jeepney to Taytay in the north of Palawan Island, a five-hour drive away. The route traverses beautiful landscapes and crosses many typical villages of the Philippines. On the way, you'll visit an old Spanish fortress with breathtaking views of the bay. You'll then embark on a private boat and head for the island paradise that is Flower Island, where you'll be staying for the next two nights.

Today, you'll enjoy a free day on Flower Island. You can use the day to discover the beautiful beaches of the island and try the different activities available including boating, kayaking, walking around the island, petanque, badminton, volleyball and more. You may even want to visit the pearl farm located near the hotel. The resort can provide suggestions for lots of activities or if you want to take it closer, you can just relax on the beach or by the pool.

After breakfast, you'll take a one-hour boat ride to the mainland. From here, your driver will be waiting with a private minivan to take you to El Nido. Your hotel is located in the beautiful El Nido Bay. You'll settle in this dream hotel and enjoy the postcard-perfect surroundings. The rest of the day will be free for you to spend as you wish, you may want to head to one of the famous beaches to watch the sunset.

Today, you'll enjoy a free day of relaxation in your hotel. You can enjoy the hotel's facilities, choose a diving session, a kayak ride or simply sunbathe and catch up on some reading on the beach. From your hotel, the view of the karst cliffs plunging into the turquoise water is simply amazing. You can also go to some beautiful places such as "Snake Island" and see its huge sandbar or visit the "Cathedral Cave". In the evening, why not sip a cocktail in the sand and watch the beautiful sunset?

The perfect base for exploring the incredible Bacuit Archipelago, off the coast of Palawan, El Nido is a tourist town nestled between immense limestone cliffs. The ramshackle town hosts a huge number of bars, restaurants, diving schools and more. When in El Nido, it is best to book yourself onto one of the many island hopping tours, hire a scooter or a driver for the day and head to one of the nearby beaches or explore the villages further up the coast.
