Today, you will head to Kaziranga National Park, UNESCO World Heritage Site which is known for its population of one-horned rhinoceros among other wildlife species. After lunch, you will enjoy your first Jeep Safari in Kaziranga National park, spread over 850 square kilometres, which was designated as a World Natural Heritage site by UNESCO in 1985.

After breakfast, you will proceed for the second Jeep safari to National Park. Kaziranga National Park is a beloved UNESCO World Heritage Site in Assam, India's northeastern state. Its woods, wetlands, and grasslands, which stretch over the Brahmaputra River's floodplains, are home to tigers, elephants, and the world's biggest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses. Afternoon, after lunch, you will enjoy your last Jeep safari in the park.

Day 6

Travel to Jorhat

Today, you will head to Jorhat and visit Tocklai Tea Research Centre, which looks after the research and development of the Indian tea Industry. It carries and promotes research on tea with the principal objective of improving overall productivity and quality. Later, you'll visit Jorhat Gymkhana Club. The club has been a venue for horse races, lawn tennis grass courts, golf etc. Its nine hole golf course is the oldest golf course in Asia and probably the third oldest in the world.

Excursion to Majuli Island

Excursion to Majuli Island

Today in the morning, you will be transferred to Nimatighat to board on a local ferry to reach Kamalabari Ghat in Majuli Island. This Island is the largest freshwater mid-river deltoid island in the world with a tribal population. It has a rich heritage and has been the home of the neo-vaishnavite culture. Later, you will be transferred back to Ghat for your return ferry back to Nimatighat and finish your day in Jorhat for an overnight stay.

This morning, you will head to Dibrugarh via Sibsagar which was the capital of the Ahom rulers. In Sibsagar, you will visit Shiva Dol (tallest Shiva temple in the country), Vishnu Dol and Devi Dolr. Also, you should visit Rang Ghar-open air amphitheatre. After lunch, together with your driver, you will drive further to Dibrugarh.

Today, you will visit a tea factory and tea garden. After the visit, you'll drive to reach Namphake Village, home to a small population of the Tai Phakes Community following Buddhist religion, in the riverine area of Buridihing. About 150 Phakial families of this village are keeping alive their unique identity, custom and traditions. The village folk speak a dialect similar to the language in Thailand and still follow the traditional customs and dress code of their ascension.
