After breakfast, you have a full day to explore Vietnam’s charming capital. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his personal residence, the One Pillar Pagoda and the Tran Quoc Pagoda. End the morning with a visit to the Museum of Ethnology. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple nearby Hoan Kiem Lake. Enjoy a one-hour cyclo sightseeing tour around Hanoi Old Quarter to get a different perspective. Then, watch a traditional water puppet show.

This morning, take a 5-hour drive to the Ta Xua Commune. You'll have lunch, then follow the local H’Mong guide to Be village to harvest ancient tea. You will have a chance to climb the ancient tea trees and pick tea buds. Then, return to your hostel where the skilful tea makers will show you the traditional way to make tea.

After breakfast, you'll start an amazing hike on local tracks, passing stunning rice terraces and H’Mong villages in the expansive valley. You will stop at a small stream where your local guide will prepare a picnic lunch with grilled pork and steamed sticky rice. Then, you'll continue the hiking route through the scenic valley with colourful wildflowers in bloom on your way back to the hotel.

After breakfast, you will drive to the famous Dinosaur’s Backbone Peak in Ta Xua mountain range. You'll have time to explore the area, take some photos and enjoy the impressive scenery. Then, it's time to say goodbye to the H’Mong people before driving back to Hanoi. On your way back to the capital, you will stop for lunch.

Continue your 10 day Vietnam itinerary today. Today visit Cham Islands, a beautiful group of 7 islands, just 50 minutes from Hoi An by boat. This group of islands offer sandy beaches and forested hills; it is the best place for deep-sea fishing, swimming, and snorkelling to see the coral. You'll return to the mainland in the early evening where you'll have free time to explore the stunning old town of Hoi An.

After breakfast, visit My Son Holy Land, once the spiritual capital of Champa Kingdom that dominated South East Asia for nearly a thousand years. In the afternoon, you'll take a walking tour of Hoi An, visit a former merchants' homes, the only Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda and the colourful riverside market.
