Explore the Red Centre in a number of exciting ways on this Outback adventure!

Beginning in Victoria, you'll enjoy some time in marvellous Melbourne taking advantage of all its exciting eateries before taking the train to Adelaide in South Australia.

After a day to two exploring, you'll fly up to Alice Springs, the capital of the Outback for a great introduction to the Red Centre.

Next, you'll travel overland into the heart of the desert to Uluru from Alice Springs where you'll spend some time with your guys enjoying various perspectives of this great monolith, learning about the Aboriginal history and enjoying some great sunsets and sunrises.

The ancient red rock formations of Kata Tjuta rise from the dusty land to make an incredible sight in Central Australia. This morning, you'll see the sunrise at Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and take a walk with your guide to the Valley of the Winds. You'll hear fascinating stories of the geology, history and culture of Kata Tjuta. This incredible formation of rock domes extends six kilometres into the ground and is the remains of erosion that began more than 500 million years ago.

This morning, you'll visit one of the greatest natural wonders of the world, Uluru. Not only is it a spectacular natural formation, but Uluru is also a deeply spiritual place. You can feel a powerful presence the moment you set eyes on it. At 348 metres high, Uluru is one of the world’s largest monoliths, towering over the surrounding landscape and some 550 million years old. Today, you'll head out on a walking tour with your guide around the base of Uluru - 10.5 kilometres in total.

Today, you'll travel through desert scenery between Ayers Rock Resort and Alice Springs, your driver-guide will provide comprehensive commentary as you pass through the beautiful rugged scenery of the outback. You'll see the flat-topped Atila (Mt Conner) in the distance and stop at Erldunda Roadhouse where you may purchase afternoon tea. You'll then travel along the Stuart Highway before arriving in Alice Springs. You will be dropped off at your Alice Springs hotel.
