Your African adventure starts when arriving in Johannesburg. Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide who will hand over your travel file and transfer you to your lovely hotel situated adjacent the Sandton Mall and Nelson Mandela Square. Relax and unwind after your long flight!

Day 2

After early morning breakfast and check out, you will be collected between 7.30 and 8 am and be transferred to the world-famous Kruger National Park. You'll have time to stop for lunch en route to the Kruger Park, arriving in the afternoon at your camp. A sunset drive or night drive will be conducted by one of the Kruger Park’s rangers. On an open safari truck equipped with spotlights, you will search for nocturnal animals like lions, leopard and hyenas.

This morning we wake up early to explore the Kruger Park. Game drive times are very flexible and will depend on the conditions on the day, the animal movements, and your interests and preferences. We don’t stick to fixed times or a rigid structure, and we can make the game drives as long or as short as you like. Relax around the pool during the midday hours, and then mid-afternoon we head out on another game drive in the comfortable open safari vehicle, looking for wildlife.

Today we travel through varying landscapes as we make our way to a different camp. We can either use the morning game drive to get there, or take a relaxed full-day drive and arrive at our new camp during the afternoon. Head out on an early morning game drive in the Kruger National Park in search of animals. While looking for wildlife, visit waterholes, lookout points and beautiful picnic spots, stopping regularly to stretch your legs. Return to the camp at lunchtime to spend the hot midday hours relaxing at the pool or watching animals from the deck overlooking the river. In the afternoon, head out on a sunset drive with one of the rangers, continuing after dark with spotlights to look for nocturnal animals.

You'll be picked up at 8 am by your guide for a full-day Panorama Route tour. Experience awe-inspiring including the dramatic Lisbon Falls, God's Windows and the verdant Blyde River Canyon, the third-largest canyon on the planet. Exactly as they sound, the Three Rondavels are three round mountain tops that very similar to the traditional oval African homesteads that are called rondavels. Check into your guesthouse late afternoon.

After a final morning game drive and breakfast, you will be transferred to the Hoedspruit Airport for your direct flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival in Cape Town, your driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel situated close to the famous V&A Waterfront. A complimentary shuttle is available from the hotel to the V&A Waterfront where you could have dinner at one of the many restaurants there.

Table Mountain offers some of the best hiking on the planet. The Platteklip Gorge route is the oldest and easiest route to the summit and also the most popular. The hiking route starts a few metres to the right of the lower cableway station and takes you to the summit. After you freshen up, head to Cape Town centre for your tour. Take a walk through the well-preserved Company Gardens, go out to the colourful Malay Quarter, Bo-Kaap and the flea market at Greenmarket Square to go shopping.

Join us for a trip along the southern coast to Hermanus, known for southern right whale watching. We begin with a visit to a colony of endangered African Penguins, followed by a stop in the seaside town of Hermanus. Enjoy a whale-watching boat trip (weather permitting). Then, after lunch, we make our way to the Stellenbosch wine farms to sip away on some world-renowned wines. Arrive back at the hotel in the late afternoon.

Today, head to the fishing village of Hout Bay passing by Sea Point, Bantry Bay, and Clifton. You will also see Bakoven and Llandudno, with their ghostly shipwrecks. In Hout Bay, go on a boat trip to see the Cape fur seal colony on Duiker Island. Then, navigate the 114 curves of Chapman's Peak Drive to the Cape of Good Hope where you'll climb to the famous Cape Point Lighthouse to capture the vistas of False Bay. Before returning, stop at Boulders Beach to see the penguins.
