For your first day in the city on your Rio tour, you'll have the chance to go to the iconic Corcovado and admire the panoramic views from the top. You'll then go down through Santa Teresa neighbourhood, the artistic part of Rio, before exploring the city centre. Accompanied by a private local guide, you'll learn all about Rio's history and how it came to have these many diverse neighbourhoods which you'll explore today.

Today, you will have the chance to admire more Brazilian nature. First, by walking through the aisles of the botanical garden of the city and by discovering the biggest urban forest in the world; the Tijuca Forest. Then, you will finish the city tour by admiring the panoramic view of the Bay of Guanabara from the top of the famous Sugarloaf. Later, at night, you will experience the Brazilian nightlife in the Lapa neighbourhood in a bar-restaurant where you can eat, dance or just enjoy the show.

Today, with your private driver, you will drive down south through the green coast, located in the south of Rio, to get to the colonial village of Paraty. Upon arrival, you'll be able to explore the city's famous historical centre. Surrounded by steep, jungle-covered mountains, Paraty is a nature lover's dream destination. The mountains descend down to meet the town which sits on a beautiful bay scattered with islands.

Today is a day to relax and enjoy the beaches and islands of the Bay of Paraty. The captain of your private boat (complete with comfortable seats and a cooler for drinks) will take you to the nicest places in the area and will stop at your request if you want to go for a swim with the colourful fish of the region. You'll also stop by many beaches so you can take lots of photos and enjoy the sun.

This morning, you will start the discovery of the surrounding of Paraty. You'll be walking into the forest, admiring waterfalls and enjoying surrounding islands. After lunch in mid-afternoon, you'll return to the mainland towards Paraty. You'll stop at the Cachaçaria Maria Izabel for a tasting of the cachaça considered for many as the best of the region, the result of craftsmanship and a family tradition. You'll return to Paraty in the middle of the afternoon after a six-hour tour.

There is no better way to feel the nature that to spend it hiking across the Atlantic tropical forest. After a few hours of hiking, you will get to the gorgeous fjord 'Saco do Mamangua' where you can swim before starting your return journey passing by a local fisherman village. You'll finish the day proud of your achievement and all of the wonderful things you've seen. In total, you will be trekking for around five hours with an elevation gain of 100 metres.

This morning, you'll leave Paraty behind to head to the island of Ilha Grande. You'll travel along the coast in a private car before hopping on a boat to reach the island, where you'll have time to explore the different secluded beaches with crystal clear waters and fun hiking trails to reach them. The most rewarding beach is Lopes Mendes which requires a leisurely yet sometimes challenging hike to reach.

Today, you'll have the whole day to explore the island and its many beaches. You can do different activities on the island like hiking trails to the Feiticeira waterfall, Lopes Mendes beach or Pico do Papagaio. You can also try kayaking to other beaches, heading off on a boat tour to Lagoa Azul or Lagoa Verde and many more activities to keep you busy on this wonderful island.

Today, you'll have another day on the island free to spend as you wish. You can do a different activity than the previous day or go back to that special spot and enjoy it again for your last day on the island, the choice is yours! Located in the eastern part of the Ilha Grande State Park, Pico do Papagaio (Parrot's Peak in English), is one of the more popular hiking trails found on Ilha Grande. This moderate, three-hour hike is a great way to spend the afternoon or morning.
