Trip Overview

This leisurely trip offers lots of time to do your own thing while getting to know the south of Italy as you travel from Rome to the Amalfi Coast.

Starting in Rome, you'll see the best of this infamous city while having lots of time to explore by yourself. You'll be taken back to Roman times when this city was the stronghold of Europe before you venture into the Vatican, the smallest country in the world.

Then you'll hit the road, and the first stop is Naples, the capital of southern Italy. Learn a little and explore before you make your way down the coast to the beautiful Amalfi but not before you learn a little about a city that was frozen in time when you pass by Pompeii.

The Amalfi Coast is one of the most beautiful parts of Italy, taking up the heel of the country's "boot", here it's best to take your time, so these days are free for you to enjoy. This Rome to the Amalfi Coast tour gives you a comprehensive yet insight into the south of Italy.
