This morning, you'll continue your scenic drive alongside the Neckar River to Rothenburg, Germany‘s best-preserved and prettiest medieval town. You can explore Rothenburg‘s historic town centre encircled by its ancient city wall and imposing defence towers, walk the narrow cobblestoned streets and explore the many charming corners of this medieval treasure chest. In the evening, you'll be guided on a Night Watchman tour of Rothenburg, hearing heoric tales and learning about its history.

Today, you'll cruise through the Franconian landscape to Nuremberg. Upon arrival, you'll set out on a self-guided discovery tour. Nuremberg prospered as an Imperial City in the Middle Ages and today boasts one of Europe‘s largest medieval town centres with the Imperial Castle proudly towering over the city. In recent history, Nuremberg earned dubious fame as the host city to the Nazi Party‘s gargantuan annual Nuremberg Rallies. You'll tour these grounds on a private tour with a local guide.
