You'll arrive in Ljubljana as you discover the best places to visit on this Slovenia and Croatia trip. You'll be collected from the airport and taken to your hotel. You'll set off to explore Ljubljana with your local guide, visit the famous Robba Fountain, the Triple Bridge, St Nicholas Cathedral and the City Square. You can wander along the banks of the River Ljubljanica to explore the main square and Central Market, stopping at one of the riverside cafés along the way.

One the way to split you'll stop by in Trogir. Set on a tiny island, linked to the mainland by bridges, Trogir is a beautiful town with a stunning waterside and vibrant markets. Its old town, under UNESCO protection, is a treasure trove for lovers of art, Renaissance and Baroque buildings, and Romanesque churches. It is called the 'town museum' as it is simply a marvel of beautiful medieval architecture everywhere you turn. After Trogir, you'll continue the short drive to Split.

The city tour in Split starts with visiting the Palace of Emperor Diocletian, in the heart of Split, built in 295 BC. You will also see the Statue of Grgur Ninski made by Ivan Meštrović, and the mausoleum of the Roman emperor which was transformed into a Catholic church, today called the Cathedral of Saint Domnius with a famous bell tower. In the afternoon, you'll have some free time to soak up the atmosphere in the beautiful Riva Promenade and time to explore Split if you wish.

Today, you'll head towards Hvar via a ferry to Stari Grad and a further transfer to town. Hvar Town is the oldest tourist centre in Dalmatia, rich with historical monuments that are simply must-see and one of the best places to visit in Slovenia and Croatia. In Hvar, you'll visit the 17th-century theatre, the 13th-century Arsenal, or the central town square with the Hvar Cathedral, and the Franciscan Monastery famous for its collection of old art masters, including Ingoli’s ‘Last Supper’.

Today you'll venture out on a full-day excursion to Blue Cave, beach Stiniva and Pakleni island. Blue Cave is located on the Croatian island of Bivsevo, a small island near Vis. The cave glows blue due to the sunlight that enters the cave through its ceiling and reflects down onto the limestone bottom of the cave creating a unique and magical blue appearance to the entire cave. Following the Blue Cave, you'll visit the Pakleni Islands before heading back to the resort in Hvar.

Today, you'll start your trip in the morning to the rich port Sucuraj on Hvar Island. You'll board the ferry to the mainland to head towards Dubrovnik. On the way, you'll stop in Ston. Ston was a major fort of the Ragusan Republic whose defensive walls were regarded as a notable feat of medieval architecture. Ston is also known for its salt works which were run by the Republic of Ragusa and the Ottoman Empire. After visiting Ston, you'll continue to Dubrovnik.

The most recognisable feature which defines the history of Dubrovnik and gives it character are its intact city walls which run uninterrupted for almost two kilometres encircling the city. This complex structure, one of the strongest fort systems in Europe is the main attraction to the city's visitors. Here you will visit, the Dubrovnik Cathedral and also take the cable car up to Srd Hill for a stunning view of Dubrovnik.
