To begin the tour, you'll meet your private English-speaking driver in the lobby of the hotel. On arrival in Versailles, you'll begin a four-hour tour of the castle. Louis XIV transformed his father’s hunting lodge into the monumental Château de Versailles in the mid-17th century, and it remains France’s most famous and grand palace. Situated in the leafy, bourgeois suburb of Versailles, 22 kilometres southwest of central Paris, you'll find the Baroque château.

After a delicious baguette over breakfast, you'll meet your private chauffeur for a private transfer to Reims. It is the unofficial capital of the wine region, and many of the most famous champagne houses are based here and offer food and wine tours and the opportunity to visit the cellars. The triumphal arch of the third century, the Porta di Marte, recalls the role played by the city in Roman times. Upon arrival, you'll settle in at your hotel and relax for the rest of the day.

This morning, you'll meet your private driver in the lobby and start your wine tour. You will visit two local Champagne wineries and have some tastings (included). In the afternoon, you will then head to Hautvillers to see Dom Perignon tomb. Despite the prestige of their vines, the people of Champagne offer a warm, surprisingly easy-going welcome, both in the stylish cities and along the Champagne Routes, which wend their way through villages to family-run cellars and vineyards.

This morning, you'll meet your private driver in the lobby of the hotel and head to Paris Gare-du-Nord train station. On arrival in Paris, you'll meet your private English-speaking assistant who will accompany you up to the departing platform and will show you your reserved seats for your high-speed train to Nice. In Nice, you will be welcomed by your private driver and will be transferred to the hotel. The rest of the evening will be free for you to relax.
