Customisable Itinerary
4.6 • 4 travellers have booked with Dil G.

Trip Overview

The Manaslu circuit trek is known as Manaslu trek which officially opened in 1991. The route became popular for camping treks for several years and is now operating as a teahouse-based trek. The trail is marked around Mount Manaslu, trekkers walk 140 kilometres in 10 days, including two days driving from and to Kathmandu.

The Manaslu Base Camp trek is the best alternative trekking route after the Annapurna circuit trek. The Manaslu Larkya La Pass trek is a complete hiking experience with nature, culture, flora and fauna. You will also trek over a high altitude pass in an additional side trip which runs close to the glacier.

Every day, with your local trekking guide, you'll trek approximately six to eight hours in humid to chilly temperatures. The Manaslu base camp trek is colourful with Buddhist Tibetan flags, a mani wall, a stone inscription and traditional stupas. Although, it is tough going for one day while you trek over the high elevation Larkya-La-Pass.

The trek ends at Dharapani village, a famous village en route to the Annapurna region, you'll then drive back to Kathmandu.
