After breakfast in the riad, you can start exploring Marrakesh; the Red City of Morocco. We will
ensure that you see the most important historical and cultural sites, including the Majorelle Gardens, Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian tombs, and the Bahia Palace. After lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and see the hundreds of handicrafts that are for sale. In the afternoon, you will have some free time to wander by yourself to explore the other parts of the city.

Day 3

Departure from Marrakesh past the Tizi N Tichka pass and through the High Atlas mountains, stopping to enjoy the magnificent views and rest. Continue to Kasbah Ait Benhaddou where we’ll have lunch and visit Ait Ben Haddou. Then drive past the village of Skoura in the heart of a valley of the palm trees and oases, where lush vegetation covers precious secret kasbahs. From here we continue to the Valley of the Roses and the Dades Valley, where we will spend the night.

To Merzouga via Todras Gorges

After breakfast, continue along the banks of Boumalne. Around us, we find rocky plateaus where dromedaries graze. After a journey full of ksour, oasis and palm trees we will reach Tinghir where the spectacular Todra gorges are perched at 1,350 metres. Continue to Erfoud and arrive at Merzouga. We’ll ride the camels into the sand dunes of Erg-Chebbi, on the way to the camp we’ll stop to see the sunset in the dunes. Tonight, you dine under 1,000 stars.

Early morning, we wake up to enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the desert, undoubtedly one of the best
and most beautiful moments in Merzouga. After a typical breakfast in our bivouac, return by camels to the hostel to take a shower. Take the road to Fes passing by the beautiful valley of Ziz, Errachidia, Midelt to the Cedar Forest and stop to visit the famous wild monkeys. We continue our desert trip through the Middle Atlas until arriving at Fes.

After breakfast in your riad, you start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its endless alleys
and small streets starting at the Royal Palace gate, and the Jewish quarter, the first Mellah ever built in Morocco. Visit all of the cultural and historical sites in Fes including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest one in the world and the famous tanneries. After lunch, you will visit a local tile cooperative and a viewpoint that will show you the whole medina of Fes.

After breakfast, we continue from Fes to Chefchaouen. A scenic drive will take you through fertile agricultural land to high, in the Rif Mountains. Once you get to Chefchaouen you will have free time to visit this wonderful blue city. Chefchaouen is famous for its vivid blue houses. Leather and weaving workshops line its steep cobbled alleys. The octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque rises not far from there.

Asilah is known for its annual art festival as most of the walls of the Medina are painted by various famous artists from all over the world. Your visit includes the Scala fortress, where you will experience a wonderful view of the Medina and the ocean before we check into your accommodation.

After breakfast in Asilah we will travel to the capital of Morocco, Rabat where we visit Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, Bab Challah, Oudaya Kasbah and one of the main gates of the royal palace. Continuing to Casablanca, visit the impressive Mosque Hassan II, built in 1993 by a team of over 6,000 craftsmen. Located on the shores of the city. It is an imposing edifice and one of the few mosques in Morocco that foreigners are allowed to enter.

After breakfast, you will head down to Essaouira. Pass through El Jadida, a small port city, formerly controlled by the Portuguese, which is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Essaouira's Medina combines history and culture with modern cafes and restaurants. It has a long promenade with a large sandy beach and is the perfect opportunity to get away from the city rush and enjoy the cooler climate of a coastal town. Essaouira's centre is an exceptional example of late-18th century fortified town.

After breakfast in the riad, we depart for Marrakesh. A relaxing drive lined with Argan oil workshops. Here, you will have the opportunity to visit an Argan oil cooperative. Later we will reach Marrakesh and check into your hotel. You'll have the afternoon to explore Marrakesh at your own pace. After ticking off some of the essentials, make sure to head to Jemaa el-Fna in the evening for the ultimate Marrakesh experience!
