Neglected by so many, Slovenia is one of the most beautiful countries in Europe, home to pristine nature, stunning landscapes and a beautiful slice of Adriatic Sea coastline. As you travel from Slovenia to Croatia, you'll experience the clearest azure waters, the most peaceful coastal towns and some beautiful islands.

Exploring with a local enables you to dive into traditional and authentic experiences that may not have otherwise been possible such as learning to cook traditional Croatian dishes in Lovorno. While you visit Croatia, you'll taste delicious olive oils and some of Europe's best wines, admire remarkably-preserved medieval towns including the Pearl of the Adriatic, Dubrovnik.

Ending the trip on a high, you'll hop over the border to the tiny but mighty sovereign state of Montenegro, where you'll explore its stunning Bay of Kotor which is filled with UNESCO-listed medieval towns and architectural gems.

Explore the Beauty of Bled

Lake Bled is the symbol of Slovenia’s natural beauty. Formed by a glacier millions of years ago, the island that sits in the middle of the lake was formed by hard rock - an obstacle the glacier could not move. Today, you'll travel to Bled to take a traditional boat across the lake to the island and to also visit the castle which clings to the cliff face 130 metres above the town. In the afternoon, you'll make your way back to Ljubljana to explore the town and its main landmarks.

Here, you'll taste wine in Jelsa, visit the town of Vrboska and visit the 2,400-year-old UNESCO-protected town of Stari Grad, before driving back to the town through the stunning lavender fields.

This natural phenomenon which results in dazzling blue and crystal clear water inside a cave is created by a gap in the cave ceiling which allows sunlight to stream in and bounce off the limestone bottom illuminating the water. Afterwards, you'll visit the equally stunning Pakleni Islands.

Setting off early, you'll catch a ferry back to the mainland where you'll explore the city of Dubrovnik. A fortified seaside city, Dubrovnik is steeped in history that tells the tale of Croatia's coastal past through its architecture with Venetian-inspired sites and perfectly-preserved architecture that dates back to the 10th century. Here, you'll wander along the city walls capturing one of the best views of Dubrovnik then head up high on the cable car to Srd Hill.
