Lake Bled is the symbol of Slovenia’s natural beauty. Formed by a glacier millions of years ago, the island that sits in the middle of the lake was formed by hard rock - an obstacle the glacier could not move. Today, you'll travel to Bled to take a traditional boat across the lake to the island and to also visit the castle which clings to the cliff face 130 metres above the town. In the afternoon, you'll make your way back to Ljubljana to explore the town and its main landmarks.

Here, you'll wander through the picturesque old town and visit the stunning cathedral. After lunchtime, you'll return to Split where you'll walk inside Diocletian’s Palace, once the summer residence of the Roman emperor Diocletian, now one of the best-preserved Roman sites in the world.

Leaving Split behind, you'll catch a ferry to the Island of Sunshine, also known as Hvar. Go to Hvar to visit Croatia's best assets: the most luxurious island, the sunniest place in the country boasting a huge 2,724 hours of sunshine each year and the most popular destination. Here, you'll taste wine in Jelsa, visit the town of Vrboska and visit the 2,400-year-old UNESCO-protected town of Stari Grad, before driving back to the town through the stunning lavender fields.

This natural phenomenon which results in dazzling blue and crystal clear water inside a cave is created by a gap in the cave ceiling which allows sunlight to stream in and bounce off the limestone bottom illuminating the water. Today, you'll hop over the border to Montenegro to experience the UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site known as the Bay of Kotor. This stunning bay and its shores are scattered with medieval towns filled with remarkable architecture dating back many centuries. You'll begin by visiting Perast and taking a short boat ride over to the island where a church sits known as Our Lady of the Rocks, before visiting the town of Kotor and its astonishing cathedral.
