First, you'll head to Lima’s contemporary districts, Miraflores and San Isidro, that combine beautiful parks, such as El Olivar and Parque del Amor, shopping centres and modern architecture. At Olivar Park, you'll attend a one-hour yoga class. In the afternoon, you will continue your city tour. In the historical centre, you'll admire the colourful colonial architecture around Plaza San Martín and the main square Plaza de Armas, where you can also see many other important buildings.

This morning, your driver will take you to the airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, you'll transfer from the airport to your hotel in the Sacred Valley. En route, you'll stop to participate in a 30-minute shaman ceremony and to explore the different Inca ruins around Cusco. You'll then continue to your hotel where you'll enjoy a unique yoga class including traditional ethnical elements of the Andean religion, mediation and music.

Today, you'll head to the Amaru community in Pisac. On arrival, you will be greeted by the community with traditional music and beautiful flowers (Kantu). In the community of Huayllafara, you will learn the art of Andean agriculture and the importance of the environment from the perspective of the Andean people. You'll practice using traditional tools, plants, or harvesting local produce and you'll enjoy a fantastic lunch consisting of local cuisine. Later on, you'll enjoy a sound meditation.

This morning, you'll drive to the impressive ruins of Ollantaytambo, one of the few places where the Incas won a battle against the Spaniards. Then, you'll board the Vistadome train and admire the views of small villages and snow-capped mountains as you travel through the Sacred Valley. When you reach Aguas Calientes, you'll take a shuttle bus up to discover the Inca’s ancient citadel and learn about the Inca civilisation.

This morning, you'll have the option to visit Machu Picchu again for a more in-depth experience. Alternatively, you can choose to trek up the famous Huayna Picchu Mountain. In the afternoon, you will board the Vistadome train back to Ollantaytambo from where you will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco. Doing this journey in reverse, you'll be able to appreciate different perspectives and views of the Sacred Valley. Your luggage will be transferred for you.

You'll start your city tour at Plaza de Armas, then you'll visit the impressive Renaissance-style Cusco Cathedral. You'll make your way through small alleys edged with Incan walls until you reach Koricancha, the temple dedicated to the sun, Inti. Then, you'll walk up to the San Blas district and wander the cobblestone streets as you browse the beautiful handicrafts and unique antique stores. In the afternoon, you'll attend a yoga class at a local yoga studio.

This morning, you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado, the gateway to the Peruvian Amazon. Upon arrival, you'll transfer to the city office of the lodge for check-in and to store the main luggage. Afterwards, you'll board a boat to Posada Amazonas Lodge. After the check-in, you will walk to the Canopy Tower for spectacular views of the rainforest and the Tambopata River. After dinner, you can listen to a lecture about the Ecotourism Project of the local community.

After breakfast, you will go on an excursion to the Oxbow Lake, Tres Chimbadas. Here, you'll board a catamaran and go on a search for the members of the giant otter family and other wild animals like caimans, hoatzins and Horned Screamer. After lunch, you'll wander on an ethnobotanical learning path in order to get to know some of the rainforest plants that are used in modern medicine. In the evening, you'll have dinner and go on a night walk where you will listen to the sounds of the jungle.

You'll start the day with a rich breakfast in order to get early to the parrot clay lick. It is only 20 minutes from the lodge and offers fantastic views on different kinds of parrots and parakeets. After this colourful event, you'll go on the Ceiba Trail to visit the giant Ceiba tree. In the afternoon, you will visit a local farmer who reveals some of his secrets about farming exotic fruits in the Amazon region from which each plant serves a specific purpose. You'll have dinner at the lodge.

This morning, you'll have your breakfast at Posada Amazonas and board the boat that will take you back to Puerto Maldonado. Upon arrival at the harbour, you'll transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival in Lima, you'll be collected from the airport and transferred to your hotel. The evening will then be free for you to spend the final night of your Peru getaway as you wish.
