Today, you will leave Granada behind and set off on a road that meanders through mountainous terrain and lovely landscapes literally sprinkled with quaint whitewashed towns known as the White Villages of Andalucia to your next destination: Seville. There will be time for a stop at Ronda so that you can discover firsthand why Orson Welles fell in love with this stunning mountaintop town. Today you will bid goodbye to the exuberant Seville and continue your journey through the Andalucia region to the charming and colourful Cordoba - the principal capital throughout the glory days of Muslim rule in Spain! Following a morning tour of Cordoba taking in the grand Mosque-Cathedral (Mezquita), you'll catch the high-speed train to Madrid. Here, you'll be invited to stroll along its cobblestoned streets and pass under the stone archways off the side of its many squares and plazas amongst which the Plaza Mayor reigns supreme. The city will entice you with its many atmospheric bars and taverns full of tapas and other exquisite delicacies such as tortilla de patatas, croquetas and churros con chocolate.

Madrid was once the capital of the mightiest empire on earth and today is a modern capital that boasts of several marvellous museums amongst which two are superlative and must not be missed. Prado Museum and the Reina Sofia; you will visit both and enjoy a fine collection of paintings that provide an eye-pleasing overview of Spain's rich artistic history. Today you will enhance your stay in Madrid with a trip to Toledo! Toledo is a beautiful melting pot of cultures, art and architecture which all stand testament to its many centuries of suffering, quarreling, understanding and learning. Today, Toledo remains one of the highlights of Spain, with art and religion that will no doubt enchant you! You'll visit the Toledo Cathedral, the Church of St. Tome and the Jewish Quarter among many other sites before returning to Madrid in the evening.
