Here, we'll pay our respects at the Peace Memorial Park and Museum, marveling at the haunting Atomic Bomb Dome. We're heading to Miyajima Island via ferry today for a day excursion. We will next proceed to Itsukushima Shrine, which is renowned for its "floating" torii gate and is one of the most attractive and well-known temples in Japan. Taking in the stunning surroundings and savoring regional cuisine, we will spend the day touring the island. Prior to continue our journey the next day, we will spend the night in Himeji after arriving there by bullet train.
