Embark on a 13-day journey to Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Córdoba with a local guide to get to know the 'pure' Argentina!

Beginning in the capital, you'll enjoy a series of unique tours to explore the city as well as numerous dining and tango experiences before you set off to Mendoza, Argentina's premier wine region. Here, you'll visit world-class vineyards and wineries to experience different ways of winemaking, learn the steps to taste a good wine and enjoy gourmet lunches paired with the best wines of the region.

Moving on, you'll head to Cordoba, where you'll get to know the contrasting facets of the city: colonial architecture, modern buildings and the traditional culture of Cordobeses. You'll then travel from Cordoba to La Matilde via Quebrada del Condorito National Park for a spot of trekking.

You'll spend the last three days of this Argentina trip at Posada Rural La Matilde in the Traslasierra Valley soaking up the splendid views, enjoying wine tours, hiking experiences and more.

Today, you'll embark on another biking tour but of a different part of the city - the Recoleta and Palermo circuit. You'll visit San Martín Square, Law University, National Library, Buenos Aires Zoo, Palermo Woods, several parks, San Martin (national hero institute), Recoleta area (basilica and cemetery), Alvear avenue and then head back to San Martín Square. In the evening, you'll have the option to head to a tango show with dinner at El Viejo Almacen - a must-do in Buenos Aires!

Today, you'll drive to San Antonio de Areco, the heart of gaucho traditions in the pampas region. You'll walk around the village and appreciate its quaint historical centre. You'll learn about the area’s history and the life and customs that are still present today through its local crafters and local people. You'll have lunch in an old restaurant atmosphere and end your tour at the Gaucho Museum and the handmade chocolate factory before returning to Buenos Aires.

Today, this urban reserves experience is ideal for birdwatchers and nature lovers. In the city of Buenos Aires and its surroundings, you can find several urban reserves to enjoy the flora and fauna living close to the Rio de la Plata river. During this tour, you will visit one of the reserves, Costanera Sur, and explore its trails through its lagoons and riverside forests. In the evening, you'll be transferred to the bus station for your overnight bus to Mendoza with dinner served on board.

Starting in the centre of Córdoba, you'll drive to La Calera, a 17th-century town, which is also the date for the local Jesuit church. You will drive through picturesque villages until you finally reach the Estancia Santa Catalina, which is the largest estancia of the Jesuits in the area. In the village of Jesus María, you'll have lunch and will stop at the Jesuit Museum in Colonia Caroya on the way back.

Today, you'll transfer from your hotel to La Matilde (the rural posada). On the way, you'll stop to do some trekking at Quebrada del Condorito National Park. Located at Pampa de Achala (Sierras Grandes), this is the very first National Park in Cordoba. During your visit, you will walk for about two hours admiring the local flora and fauna and the views of the park. After the trek, you'll continue to Posada Rural La Matilde in the Traslasierra Valley to begin your three-day programme.
