After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your English-speaking guide in the lobby for an exciting day visiting two of Venice’s most famous islands. You will start in Murano, renowned for making glass since the 13th century. Here, you will take a tour of a glass factory and learn more about this art from some of the country’s best masters. Next, head to Burano, a fisherman island known for its multicoloured houses and the home of handmade lace. After the tour, you will return to your hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your guide for a private tour of Venice's most beautiful sights. You will spend the morning visiting St. Mark’s Square, the Golden Basilica and the Doge’s Palace. as well as the lively Rialto Market area. In the afternoon take a beautiful sunset gondola ride for a unique experience of Venice. After, you will go to a "Bacaro", a traditional Venetian wine bar where you will have a wine tasting and a "cicchetto", a typical Italian appetizer.

In the morning after you finish breakfast, you will take a 3-hour train journey from Venice to Florence. Once you arrive, you can check into your hotel and relax. In the afternoon you will take a guided walking tour to see the highlights of Florence. Here you will visit the Accademia Gallery, the impressive Duomo Cathedral, Ponte Vecchio and finally finish in the St. Lorenzo area, where the city’s main market is located.

Today you will have an exciting private cooking class with a famous local chef in a kitchen in the heart of Florence. Your experience will start by visiting the traditional grocery shops to choose all of the ingredients for your dishes. Then, you will head to the kitchen to prepare your Tuscan meal with your chef. You will make hand-rolled pasta and pasta sauce and a typical Tuscan dessert. At the end of the class you can enjoy your delicious meal with a glass of Tuscan wine in hand.

Meet your private driver in the lobby of the hotel and head to a local renowned Chianti
Winery. This region produces some of Italy’s finest wines, whilst also boasting of gorgeous countryside. On arrival, you will visit the cellars where you can learn about how the wine is produced. After, you will have a wine tasting session to discover the flavours of this region.

This morning you will wake up early to take a scenic four-hour train journey from Florence to Naples. Once you arrive at Naples train station, a private driver will pick you up and take you to your hotel in Sorrento. In the afternoon you are free to explore Sorrento at your leisure. You can visit the famous Piazza Tasso, the busiest and most lively square of Sorrento, or you could relax at one of the popular beaches and have a bite to eat at one of the many local seafood restaurants.

Today you will explore one of the most picturesque and stunning drives in Italy: the Amalfi Coast. You will meet your private driver in the morning for a day stopping at a number of refined Italian villas and typical Amalfi villages along the way. After lunch, continue to drive through lemon groves, ancient fortresses, and postcard-pretty views from the coast.

Today you have the day free to explore your new surroundings on your own. You may wish to take a stroll through the streets of Sorrento, take a wine tour or hike up the spectacular Mount Vesuvius. If you prefer, you can simply enjoy the day relaxing at the pool of your hotel.

In the morning you will take a two and a half train journey from Sorrento to Rome. Once you arrive at the train station, a private driver will meet you and take you to your hotel in the city centre. After lunch, you are free to explore Rome at your leisure. Here you can visit some of the architectural wonders, make a wish at the Trevi fountain or eat some authentic Italian food.

Today you will go on a guided tour of the Vatican City. You will start by visiting the Vatican Museums, founded in the 16th century, which feature some of the most renowned classical statues. Here you will see the Sistine Chapel, the official residence of the Pope. After, head to the extraordinary St. Peter's Basilica, one of the largest churches in the world.

On your last day of the trip, you are free to spend it as you wish in Rome. There are plenty of cultural and interesting activities to do in this city. Tour the Renaissance Villa Farnesina in the Trastevere district or go for a stroll in the buzzing Monti neighbourhood, an eclectic area in the city centre full of hip wine bars and trendy boutiques. Visit the impressive Colosseum or head out of the city for a sunny day in nearby Ostia beach.
