After breakfast, visit Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum before exploring his house on stilts. A short walk from the mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda. Pass by the Presidential Palace to the West Lake where you will visit Tran Quoc, one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature and the Museum of Ethnology, then take a cyclo around the Old Quarter, stopping at Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. At night, you will go to the Water Puppet Show.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will be picked up by limousine bus and travel to Sapa. This route goes through the amazing scenery of mountains, rivers and rice fields. Arrive in Sapa, check into your hotel. After lunch transfer 4km out of Sa Pa to Ma Tra. This valley is very quiet and the people here still live traditionally without the influence of the West. Walk through several H' Mong hamlets scattering the hill-sides. Continue gradually downhill to Ta Phin village which is home to Red Dzao people.

Lao Chai and Ta Van Villages

After breakfast, drive to Y Linh Ho Village of Black H’ Mong Hill Tribe. You will start by walking through the town of Sapa and along a dirt trail through vegetable gardens and rice paddies. The spectacular scenery of Muong Hoa valley will gradually appear. Keep hiking until you reach Lao Chai village of Black H' Mong. Stop in Lao Chai to visit a local house. After lunch, follow the dirt path linking to Ta Van, the only village of the Giay minority. From Ta Van, you will transfer back to Sapa

Travel back to Hanoi

In the morning, you'll have free time in Sapa to explore the town, the Central Market, the stone church, perhaps even take a cable car to Fansipan mountain, the highest in Vietnam. If you want to relax, you may want to get a foot massage after your trekking. Mid-afternoon, you’re picked up by limousine bus and taken back to Hanoi. When you arrive, you will be free to explore the Old Quarter to find a local restaurant for dinner.

After breakfast, depart to Ha Long Bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Travel through the farmlands of the Red River Delta and Vietnamese villages. Board your cruise and enjoy a welcome drink before checking into your cabin. The cruise starts with lunch served on board. The cruise meanders among many karst rocks and islets in their many unique shapes. In the evening, dinner is served on board. Then you can go night fishing, enjoy drinks on the rooftop or get a massage.

In the morning, there is a Tai Chi class is available for "early birds" while the sun rises. Then, enjoy tea, coffee and a light breakfast before visiting a cave carved inside the karst formations with impressive stalactites and stalagmites. An early lunch will be served while the cruise is returning back to the pier. Our guide will pick you up for a ride back to Hanoi and go straight to the airport for your flight to Danang. You'll be transferred to Hoi An on your arrival.

After breakfast, walk around the ancient town of Hoi An with your guide. A former trading port and major hub of the Silk Road, Hoi An's buildings attest to the many different communities that have lived here. Visit a 400-year-old Japanese Bridge, a 300-year-old Chinese temple, a 200-year-old Vietnamese merchant house, and the local market with a fabric market attracted on the side. There are numerous art galleries and tailor shops where you can get some express tailored clothes if you like!

After breakfast, drive along the beautiful coast of Vietnam to Hue. Stop on the Hai Van Pass for a panoramic view of white sand, blue sea and green mountains. Arrive in Hue and visit the Imperial Citadel, including the Flag Tower, Nine Holy Cannons, Ngo Mon Gate, and Forbidden Purple City. 
In the afternoon, take a boat upstream on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda. A car will pick you up to take you to Tu Duc Tomb, set in an elegant garden with a magnificent lake and pavilion complex.

In the morning, fly down to Ho Chi Minh City, the metropolis of the south. You'll be transferred to your hotel for a quick rest before heading out on your city tour. Visit the War Remnants Museum and the Reunification Palace, the location of the Fall of Saigon in 1975. The day ends with the charming Notre Dame Cathedral and the Post Office opposite each other. Then, go down to the Saigon Opera House and finish at Ben Thanh Market.

Day 11

After breakfast, head to Ben Tre in the heart of the Mekong and hop on a boat on the Ben Tre River. The first stop is at a brick kiln then a coconut processing workshop. Return to the boat and motor through creeks to a village and enjoy some local fruits. Take a tuk-tuk or bicycle along shady paths, green rice fields and vegetable plains. Lunch will be at a local riverside restaurant. After lunch, we’ll take a rowing-boat along a beautiful water palm creek before transferring back to the pier.

After the formalities of arriving in Cambodia, you'll head to your hotel and relax for the remainder of the day. Visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom South Gate, Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Next, visit Banteay Kdei, and Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. In the afternoon, visit all of the temples of Angkor. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th-century masterpiece is a prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Enjoy wonderful sunset from the top of Pre Rup Temple.

This is the last day of your tour from Hanoi to Siem Reap. Enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap Lake to Kampong Phluk village. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River. The main village of Tonle Sap floats, moving from place to place following water levels and current. You'll go back to your hotel to shower and check out, ready to go to Siem Reap airport.
