Leave early in the morning to make it to the train market for rush hour. You'll be fascinated and entertained by this market that packs up for the trains to pass and then unpacks to resume! From the market, you will take a long tail along the canals to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Discover the traditional way of trading from boat to boat. Take the road to Kanchanaburi, you will board a small train on the Death Railway built by prisoners during the Japanese occupation.

Depart at 11 am to the Hellfire Pass and walk on the railway line built by the Japanese prisoners of war during WWII. Depart for Erawan National Park to the waterfall extending over 7 levels, flowing into the Khwae Yai River. Don't forget to bring your bathing suit and a towel! Throughout this jungle excursion, you will be able to admire the natural pools with turquoise waters formed by the main waterfall and the surrounding tropical vegetation.

Begin your day by visiting the JEATH Museum and the Kanchanaburi War Cemetry. You will have the chance to walk around Kanchanaburi before discovering a true hidden jewel, little-known to tourists, Wat Tham Sua. The Chinese pagoda of Wat Tham Khao Noi is located next to the temple. There is a cafe with its typical decoration, located in the middle of the lush rice fields looking over Wat Tham Sua. Take the road towards Ayutthaya after your visit, you'll arrive at your hotel late afternoon.

Depart for the ancient capital of Siam, a remarkable archaeological site classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkhol, and its courtyard entirely lined with Buddha statues and its imposing Chedi, the Wat Phanan Choeng with its immense sitting Buddha more than 19 metres high, and the Wat Chai Wattanaram, whose central Prang is very richly decorated. Around 12.30, embark on a cruise around Ayutthaya for lunch. Late afternoon, board your overnight train to Chiang Mai.
