Barranco is considered the capital’s bohemian district where many renowned artists, musicians, photographers, and designers live and work. You'll end your Barrance tour at the Bridge of Sighs, an ancient yet solid bridge that has inspired poets and songwriters like Chabuca Granda. To complete the experience, you'll visit the MATE Museum by the internationally re-known Peruvian photographer, Mario Testino, a stunning display of colour and culture providing a glimpse of Cusqueño culture.

Slip your wetsuit on and ride some waves on the Peruvian coastline. Whether you are a beginner or experienced surfer, your instructor will teach you the tips during your class. Afterwards, you'll bike around and explore the city of Lima. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a colonial and contemporary city tour. You'll visit numerous must-see sights including the San Francisco Monastery and will finish the tour with a guided tour of the Larco Museum, focussing on women's roles in ancient Peru.

This morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the airport for your flight to Arequipa. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed at the airport and driven to the hotel. In the afternoon, you'll embark on a city tour of Arequipa admiring the beautiful landscapes, fields and pre-Inca terraces. You'll visit key neighbourhoods in the city, the beautiful historical centre and finally the impressive Santa Catalina Monastery, a 20,000 metre-squared complex known as a 'City within a City'.

Today, you'll enjoy a culinary experience showcasing the local cuisine led by Roger Falcón, son of the owner of some of the most typical Picanterías of Arequipa. The tour begins with a visit of the San Camilo Market with its variety of fruits and vegetables. Here, you will buy the ingredients which you will need later for your cooking class. Then, you'll continue to the restaurant to start the cooking demonstration. The tasting of the prepared dishes is of course included!

You will be picked up at a given time at the hotel and brought to the airport in order to take your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, you'll be welcomed at the airport and taken to your hotel. After checking in, you'll meet your guide and start your walking tour at Plaza de Armas and visit the impressive Renaissance-style cathedral. You'll make your way through small alleys edged with Incan walls until you reach Koricancha, the temple dedicated to the sun, Inti.

This morning, you'll head out on a tour of the key Cusco ruins visiting Sacsayhuaman, Qengo, Puca Pucara Fort and Tambomachay. Then, you'll take part in a mystical Andean ritual, the shaman ceremony “pago a la tierra”. Later on, you'll indulge in a delicious chocolate and wine experience creating your very own “chocoteja”, a chocolate treat made famous in the Ica region of Peru.

Today, you'll have the entire day free to spend as you wish in Cusco. If you want to take part in any of the optional activities on offer, these can be arranged. You can spend the day stand-up paddleboarding, doing yoga and exploring the city on a bike. Alternatively, you can explore the surrounding Andean villages on horseback or on a mountain bike if you're up for a little more of an adventure.

Today, you will leave Cusco behind and be picked up for a meet and greet with the football team of the women of Parwa. For lunch, you will be driven to Chinchero. In Chinchero, you will visit the Centro de Textiles Tradicionales de Cusco (Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco) of Nilda Callañaupa. In the afternoon, you'll return to Urubamba, where you will participate in a ceramic workshop before checking into your hotel.

This morning, you'll visit the market of Pisac, well-known amongst inhabitants and tourists. On the bazaar-like open market, you can buy a wide variety of Peruvian handicrafts. Here, you will also take part in an empanada workshop and learn how to prepare the traditional stuffed bread or pastry and enjoy the delicious snack. In the afternoon, you continue to Ollantaytambo. The impressive fortress thrones protectively above the village, the sight is impressive.

Today, you'll go on a tour to the different Inca communities and antique salt mines. First, you'll visit Moray, a Pre-Incan site built with round, agricultural terraces, some of them up to 150 metres deep. Then, you will visit the salt flats of Maras. In Maras, you will also get the chance to live the Andean culture by participating in a traditional cooking class then you'll visit a local house where you will talk with the local people who will teach you how to make ornaments with corn leaves.

This morning, you'll head to the station for your scenic train journey to Aguas Calientes, at the foot of Machu Picchu. Travelling through the Sacred Valley, you'll pass little villages with the backdrop of snow-capped mountains. Upon arrival, you'll board the shuttle bus to Machu Picchu. You'll learn about its discovery and the different theories on how and why it was built, visiting the main plaza, the Temple of Three Windows, the circular tower, the sacred sundial and the burial grounds.

This morning, you'll have the option to visit Machu Picchu again for a more in-depth experience. Alternatively, you can choose to hike up to Mandor Waterfall. Few people that visit Machu Picchu have the opportunity to visit this unknown nature paradise. In the afternoon, you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo from where you will transfer to your hotel in Cusco. Your luggage will be transferred for you.
