Trip Overview

This round trip to Vietnam includes all the best sites in the north, centre and south of Vietnam: Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hoi An, Hue, Ho Chi Minh, Mekong Delta with a special highlight of an unforgettable night in a private cabin cruising on the magical waters of Halong Bay. The trip is flexible, it can start in Hanoi and finish in Ho Chi Minh City or vice versa.

You can start in Hanoi to discover the city of the 1000 year, and travel to Halong Bay for a relaxing overnight cruise on the emerald water with many activities to choose. After that, go to Hoi An for seeing the ancient town with My Son Sanctuary. Have a special cooking class in Hoi An and also enjoy some free time in the ancient town.

Continue the journey with a fantastic drive via Hai Van Pass to Hue Imperial Citadel. Spend a day to learn about the history of Vietnam then fly to Ho Chi Minh, visit Cu Chi Tunnels to know deeper about the Vietnam War as well as visit some other famous sights in the city. Finish this trip with a visit to the Mekong Delta for cycling in small villages and visit the floating markets.

Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise. Enjoy a light breakfast before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay. Have brunch on board. Return to the pier then drive back to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Danang. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Hoi An, where you will stay overnight.

After breakfast, take a visit to My Son Holy Land, once the spiritual capital of Champa Kingdom that dominated South East Asia for nearly a thousand years and occupied most of the central parts of Vietnam from 2nd century to 16th century with very rich in history and culture. In the afternoon, drive back to Hoi An with visit the former merchants' homes, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda and the colourful riverside market. Then enjoy some leisure time in the ancient town.
