Welcome to South Africa! Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met and accompanied to the check-in counter for your flight to Cape Town. When you arrive in Cape Town, you will be met and accompanied to the car rental depot to collect your car rental to start your South Africa road trip. Drive to your hotel and relax for the remainder of the day.

Today, head to the fishing village of Hout Bay passing by Sea Point, Bantry Bay, and Clifton. You will also see Bakoven and Llandudno, with their ghostly shipwrecks. In Hout Bay, go on a boat trip to see the Cape fur seal colony on Duiker Island. Then, navigate the 114 curves of Chapman's Peak Drive to the Cape of Good Hope where you'll climb to the famous Cape Point Lighthouse to capture the vistas of False Bay. Before returning, stop at Boulders Beach to see the penguins.

Ferries leave for Robben Island at 9 am. You can expect to see the leper graveyard, the lime quarry, army and navy bunkers, and the Maximum Security Prison. The tour usually ends at Nelson Mandela’s cell. All of the tour guides were political prisoners, in addition to official history, you may be treated to a few anecdotes. Then, take a cable car up Table Mountain for spectacular views. Back in the city, visit the Castle of Good Hope, Greenmarket Square and the colourful Malay Quarter, Bo-Kaap.

Today you say goodbye to Cape Town and make your way out to the majestic university town of Stellenboschi n the heart of the Cape Winelands. Stellenbosch is a place of great beauty and culture that's steeped in South African tradition. The Stellenbosch Wine Route is arguably the country's most famous, and the Stellenbosch Wine of Origin area includes 106 cellars -most of which are open to the public. Enjoy a long day's wine tasting before continuing to Franschhoek where your hotel is.

Enjoy an early morning true African Bush Safari on Buffelsdrift Game Farm at 7 am to view buffaloes, giraffes, hippos and various other species. The duration of our bush safaris is around 2 hours. After breakfast, the day is at leisure to visit the Cango Ostrich Farm and the Cango Caves, a spectacular series of limestone caverns, some of the most extensive in the world. Experience animal encounters with cheetah, lemurs and so much more at the Cango Wildlife Ranch if you wish.

After breakfast, you make your way to Knysna, the gem of the Garden Route. En route, you pass through the beautiful Outeniqua pass, George and the Kaaimans River Pass and Wilderness, a small village, with lakes and beaches, against a backdrop of lush forest and lofty mountains and heralds the beginning of the Garden Route. It's a short drive up the coast to Knysna, the heart of South Africa's famous Garden Route.

Other than Storms River Mouth, Knysna is the Garden Route’s darling. Life revolves around the lagoon, connected to the Indian Ocean through the channel on either side of which is a famous sandstone cliff. They’re known as The Heads that can be accessed by boat. Plettenberg Bay is one of the highlights of the Garden Route. The beaches are incredible, Robberg Nature Reserve provides wonderful hikes, you can cruise the Keurbooms River Nature Reserve, visit The Crags and Monkeyland & Birds of Eden

After breakfast and check out, you say goodbye to the Garden Route and make your way to Addo Elephant National Park which is around 4 hours drive away. En route, you pass by the worlds highest Bungee Jump Bridge, located on the Bloukrans Bridge. Stopover at the Tsitsikamma National Park for a fantastic short walk through the forest and over the Storms River mouth. After lunch, you can continue to your luxury Kuzuko Lodge where you will be staying for 3 nights.

Wake up before sunrise; it's the best time for game viewing, so make the most of it! Coffee and tea with rusks will be served on the deck before departing. After the morning game drive, you will return to the lodge for a delicious buffet breakfast. Join an armed ranger on a short guided bush walk if you wish, to explore the smaller wonders of the wild on foot. Then, enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Relax until mid-afternoon, ready for another game drive. Dinner will be at the lodge.
