Trip Overview

Perú is known as the "Egypt of the Americas" on account of the wealth of its archaeology. Throughout two weeks in Peru, we will bring you on a journey through several impressive sites that have been miraculously preserved in time from Incan and pre-Incan cultures.

We invite you to visit and be fascinated by the little-known ruins of powerful pre-lncan cultures in Northern Peru including the mighty Kuelap Fortress in Chachapoyas, the Huaca Rajada, where archaeologists discovered the Lord of Sipán in Chiclayo, and Chan Chan, the largest adobe city of the pre-Columbian era in Trujillo.

The journey will continue to Cusco, the religious and administrative capital of the Inca Empire, that is the gateway to Machu Picchu, but also has its own story to tell. We will wind through the enchanting Sacred Valley before the most anticipated visit to the gem of Perú, Machu Picchu in a beautiful cloud forest. Learn about Peru's history and its modern-day culture in this amazing package.
