In the morning, drive outside of Ho Chi Minh City to visit the incredible Cu Chi Tunnels. The Cu Chi Tunnels are an underground labyrinth of passageways, used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. In the afternoon, head back to the city for a visit to the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office which are fine examples of classical French colonial architecture. After that, you'll finish the day by visiting the War Remnants Museum and the bustling Ben Thanh Market.

Today you will take an excursion to the Mekong Delta, where you will enjoy a boat ride. Stop on the way to visit various craft villages to see how to make rice paper, continue to cruise coconut jungle to visit local coconut workshop to learn how coconut candy and coconut souvenirs are made by hand. Get on a tuk-tuk or take a 3-kilometre bike ride and travel along the narrow shady village roads to visit fruit orchards and enjoy a delicious local lunch at an ancient house.

In the morning, you will embark on a boat cruise to see the Cai Rang floating market, a true highlight of any Vietnam tour. Here you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and see the daily activities of the locals who live along the Mekong canals. Then continue to visit a tropical fruit orchard. You will have lunch on the way going back to Ho Chi Minh City. Then, you will be transferred to the airport to take a short flight to Hoi An.

After breakfast, take a visit to My Son Holy Land, once the spiritual capital of Champa Kingdom that dominated South East Asia for nearly a thousand years and occupied most of the central parts of Vietnam from 2nd century to 16th century with very rich in history and culture. In the afternoon, drive back to Hoi An with visit the former merchants' homes, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda and the colourful riverside market. Then enjoy some leisure time in the ancient town.

Today you will partake in a cooking class to learn how to make some authentic Vietnamese dishes. Start the tour in the morning, visit Hoi An’s colourful market, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market. You will have the opportunity to interact with the local sellers and learn about all the ingredients to be used in the cooking lesson later. The rest of the day is free to spend as you wish in Hoi An.

You have a free day to cycle through the rice paddies in the countryside of Hoi An ancient town, shop for souvenirs among the antique shops and art galleries, or just sit at sidewalk cafes and soak up the atmosphere of this quaint town. You can also relax on the white sandy beach of the famous Cua Dai Beach or join an optional tour in Hoi An.

Your 15 days in Vietnam continues today. After check out, leave Hoi An for Hue, the last imperial capital of Vietnam, well-known for its magnificent architecture, pagodas and royal tombs laid in small villages and surrounding hills. En-route you can see the famous Danang Beach, visit Cham Museum and Ngu Hanh Son Marble Moutain. Upon your arrival in Hue, you can check in to your hotel and relax.

Start the day with a visit to the Imperial Citadel, home to the Imperial City and Forbidden Purple City – once the Emperor's private residence. The Imperial Citadel gives you a better understanding of the beauty of Vietnamese Royal architecture and culture. Then take a beautiful dragon boat trip along Perfume River and visit Thien Mu Pagoda. In the afternoon, visit King Ming Mang and King Khai Dinh tombs which are the most beautiful works of royal architecture of the Nguyen dynasty.

After breakfast, transfer to Hue airport to fly to Hanoi, a city with vibrant street life, a unique blend of old and new architecture and friendly people. Check in to your hotel and enjoy a food tour experience with a visit to one of the local markets in the city to see all different kinds of food that are used for Vietnamese meals.

After breakfast, you have a full day to explore Vietnam’s charming capital. Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his personal residence, the One Pillar Pagoda and the Tran Quoc Pagoda. End the morning with a visit to the Museum of Ethnology. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple nearby Hoan Kiem Lake. Enjoy a one-hour cyclo sightseeing tour around Hanoi Old Quarter to get a different perspective. Then, watch a traditional water puppet show.

After breakfast, drive to Ninh Binh, a destination that is well-known as the Halong Bay on land. On the way, stop at Hoa Lu, the ancient royal capital of Vietnam to visit temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le Kings. Continue your trip to the World Heritage site of Tam Coc and board a small sampan for a spectacular 2-hour trip through caves, waterways and beautiful rural landscape consisting of limestone cliffs and rice paddies. In the afternoon, drive back to Hanoi.

Set off at 8 am for a 3.5-hour drive through the Red River Delta, which offers plenty of chances for taking photos of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy fields. Arrive at Halong City, check in and board your junk and enjoy the journey in the amazing bay. Savour a gourmet lunch of fresh seafood onboard as you sail out into the mystical bay. In the afternoon, enjoy some activities in the bay, or just spend some time relaxing. Dinner is served on board.

Awake early and participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply relax and enjoy the sunrise. Enjoy a light breakfast before setting out to explore nearby islands by rowboat. Return to the junk then take advantage of the sundeck and admire the amazing rock formations of Bai Tu Long Bay. Have brunch on board before returning to the pier to drive back to Hanoi.
