Over the duration of the trip, you will visit the most famous attractions in the country, enjoy incredible adventure activities and learn about the wonderful history and culture of the destinations you visit in Brazil.

Beginning in Salvador, you'll explore this historic city before moving to the gateway to the Amazon, Manaus. You'll spend the next five days immersed in the largest rainforest in the world, learning all about its flora and fauna and wildlife spotting.

After the Amazon experience, you'll fly to Iguacu where you'll spend a couple of days exploring the mighty Iguazu Falls which straddles the Argentina-Brazil border. The latter part of your trip will be spent in the state of Rio de Janeiro in the mighty capital city and the charming colonial town of Paraty.

Today, you'll head out with a local guide to explore the Salvador Historic Centre and learn all about its history as you stroll through its cobblestone streets. Today, you'll be up early to be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Manaus, the largest city in the Amazon and the gateway to all its fun and educational activities. Day 5

Today, you'll explore a region of the Amazon on a boat tour along the Negro River. You will have the chance to admire the miraculous 'Meeting of the Waters', the point where the Negro and Solimoes rivers meet. You will also visit a floating village where you can fish with the locals. On your way back to Manaus, admire the beautiful Amazonian sunset as you head to your lodge that will be home for the three days.

Today, you'll head deeper into the Amazon on a series of exciting jungle activities. To begin the day, you'll get up early to watch the sunrise. You'll then head out on a hike with a local guide to see medicinal plants, water vines, spiders, frogs, butterflies and survival techniques in the jungle. You will also have the opportunity to learn how the indigenous people make traps. Later in the afternoon, you'll canoe the creeks of the Amazon to explore the biodiversity of the region.

Today, you'll leave the lodge to travel upstream to explore the Mutuca River to spot wildlife and to see one of the largest trees in the Amazon rainforest on the way, the Samauma Tree. Upon return to the lodge, you'll have lunch before heading back to Manaus. Upon arrival back in the city, you'll check into your hotel and then have the rest of the day free to spend as you wish.

Day 8

Fly to Iguazu

Today, you'll say goodbye to Manaus once again as you are transferred to the airport ahead of your flight to Iguazu. The flight takes around 5-6 hours to reach Iguacu. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred by private car to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you'll go straight to the Itaipu Dam for a special circuit tour of the complex and you'll also explore other parts of the city's centre, like the Buddhist Temple.

Today, you'll explore this mighty waterfall which straddles the border between Argentina and Brazil. On the Argentinian side, you'll do a full-day tour that will allow you to explore the many trails inside the park before you return to your hotel. Back on the Brazilian side, you'll enjoy lunch at the park facing the falls before transferred to Parque das Aves, an amazing bird conservation project in the region.

Today, you'll be collected from your hotel in Iguazu and taken to the airport where you'll catch a flight to Rio de Janeiro. After a couple of hours, you'll touch down in the mighty capital. From here, you'll be collected by your driver and taken to your hotel in the city centre. The rest of the afternoon will be free to spend as you wish. The city of Rio de Janeiro buzzes with life and you'll soon learn that there is so much to see and do in this city.
