Trip Overview

Looking for rich culture, fascinating history, unbeatable weather and incredible gastronomy? This fantastic tour of the Iberian Peninsula has all that and more.

We’ve handpicked our favourite locations in both Spain and Portugal which we believe perfectly highlight both the similarities and many differences between these two beautiful neighbouring countries.

Starting in Madrid, Spain’s exciting capital, and ending in Porto, Portugal’s famous fortified wine-producing city, you’ll cross through incredible Andalusía, to explore the Moorish and royal treasures of Granada, Córdoba and Sevilla where you’ll also experience the delights of whitewashed Andalusian hill towns, prancing horses, tasty tapas, and fine sherry wines.

Then, it’s on to Portugal; starting in lively Lisbon, you’ll get a taste for the culture and delicious cuisine of this fascinating country. You’ll then head on to Coimbra for a healthy dose of history and impressive architecture before ending in the proud city of Porto. On the way, you’ll explore some of Portugal’s lesser-known, beautiful and culturally rich destinations such as Sintra, Nazaré and Aveiro amongst many others.

Let yourself be seduced and enchanted by this singular and gorgeous corner of the world on this 17-night trip to Spain and Portugal.
