Trip Overview

Embark on an unforgettable 18-day journey through three stunning Southeast Asian countries - Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Explore the rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant cultures of these countries, from bustling cities to serene countryside. This trip will take you to iconic landmarks, world heritage sites, and hidden gems, making this region a must-visit destination.

Start your journey in Vietnam’s charming capital - Hanoi. Discover the city’s Old Quarter, where you can explore narrow streets filled with markets, street food vendors, and boutique shops. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, and Tran Quoc Pagoda, and finish the morning with a visit to the Museum of Ethnology. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature and Ngoc Son Temple near Hoan Kiem Lake before enjoying a one-hour cyclo sightseeing tour around Hanoi Old Quarter and then watching a traditional water puppet show.

Leave the city early for the 3.5-hour drive through the Red River Delta, which offers plenty of opportunities to take photos of Vietnamese farmers tilling the vast green paddy fields. We're heading to Ha Long Bay — a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its emerald waters and towering limestone karsts. A boat ride through this natural wonder offers breathtaking views and a chance to visit ancient fishing villages tucked between the dramatic islands. Relax and take in the stunning scenery while enjoying lunch on board.

Make your way to the heart of Vietnam to explore Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its dramatic karst landscapes, vast cave systems, and rich biodiversity. Adventure seekers can take a guided tour of the Phong Nha Cave, one of the world's largest and most spectacular cave systems, featuring stunning stalactites and underground rivers.

Your Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia tour continues in Luang Prabang, known for its serene atmosphere, stunning temples, and the Royal Palace Museum. Rise early to witness the traditional morning alms ceremony, where monks in saffron robes collect offerings from locals. Take a guided tour of the National Museum, which houses an impressive collection of artefacts showcasing the rich history of Laos.

Si Phan Don – Just south of Pakse lies the serene Si Phan Don, also known as the "4000 Islands." This beautiful area along the Mekong River features hundreds of islands, some inhabited, offering a perfect escape into nature. Discover remote villages, visit ancient temples, and enjoy a cooking class with a local chef, where you’ll learn to prepare traditional Laotian dishes.

The next stop is Cambodian, which begins in Siem Reap, the gateway to the magnificent Angkor Wat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest religious monuments in the world. Spend a day exploring the Angkor Archaeological Park, home to the stunning temples of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and the Bayon Temple, known for its massive stone faces.

Floating Villages and Local Markets – Beyond the temples, discover the daily life of Cambodians in the surrounding countryside. Visit a traditional floating village on the Tonle Sap Lake, where you can see houses on stilts, local schools, and vibrant communities. Explore the local markets of Siem Reap, filled with handmade crafts, fresh produce, and street food.

With some of the key attractions of three countries in one trip, this Southeast Asia adventure is filled with unforgettable experiences, giving you an insight into the Indochina region!
