Today, you will meet your driver and guide at the hotel to visit the world’s smallest country and the centre of the Catholic World, the Vatican City. Visit the impressive St. Peter’s square and Church, and explore the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel. In the afternoon you'll continue to discover Rome with your guide. Start the tour from Michelangelo’s Campidoglio where you can look out over the Roman Forum area, then continue to Imperial Forums and the ruins of Colosseum.

Today you will embark on an Italian cooking class where you will visit a local market and learn how to prepare some of Italy’s most famous dishes. After the class, you will have a number of optional activities to choose from. You’ll spend today on the stunning island of Capri, only a short ferry ride away from Amalfi. One of Greece’s most picturesque locations, this island west of the Sorrento Peninsula has a mystical charm that has long been revered in the writings of intellectuals of Ancient Greece. Here you have the option to either explore the island on a Vespa or to take a private boat tour where you can enjoy the views and go swimming and snorkelling.

Today you have the day to explore the town of Amalfi at your own leisure. There is plenty to discover along this 50 kilometre stretch of impossibly beautiful coastline. Here you'll see the architecture of the Greek theatre and walk along the main street of Corso Umberto and visit the local boutiques. In the afternoon, you have the option to participate in a typical Sicilian pastry cooking class.

In the morning you will enjoy a hike up the highest active volcano in Europe, Mount Etna. The Greeks often wrote about this volcano, creating legends and fables surrounding its mystique. Nowadays, it is a World Heritage Site and reserves some spectacular views for those who climb it. You'll also be able to taste some local wine and food in the area. In the afternoon, you will travel to Syracuse by private car.

Today you will go on a walking tour of one of the great ancient capitals of Western civilisation. Syracuse is packed with rich Greek history, culture and architecture. Here you can experience sights such as the Roman Amphitheatre, the Cathedral of Syracuse and the Temple of Apollo. In the afternoon you’ll have the option to go on a chocolate factory tour in Modica, home to some of the best chocolate in the world and where you’ll get to experience first hand a staple in Sicilian sweets.

This is a travel day, where you will travel to Catania airport to catch your flight to Malta in the morning. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and explore Malta at your own leisure. You can explore the former capital of Malta, Mdina, on foot, marvel at the architecture of the Mosta Dome or visit one of the naturally formed caves that are part of the Blue Grotto.

This small historic city that also happens to be a World Heritage Site certainly packs a punch and boasts of gorgeous golden-stone fortresses and 16th-century mansions that ooze elegance. Today you will visit Hagar Qim and Mnajdra which are a group of temples that are evocative of Malta’s prehistoric sites. In the afternoon, you can stroll along the fortification of Valletta for views of the harbour and The Three Cities of Vittoriosa, Cospicua and Senglea from the pier which witnessed the coming and going of the Arabs and the Crusades.
