This morning you can visit the local farmers market and taste local fruits. You'll finish the morning by with a traditional pastel which is a pastry with a tapioca filling, you'll wash this all down with some sugar cane, a great sugar kick in the mid-day heat. Start off visiting a coffee farm, learning about the production of one of Brazil's largest exports. Have lunch on a traditional family sítio. Then, digest with a shot of cachaça and visit the small "alambique" where it is made. Finish the day by learning about cheese production, the iconic 'queijo minas and pick up some cheese to take home!
