Kirkenes Free Time or Optional Ice Fishing, King Crab Safari or Snowshoe Tour

This morning, you'll arrive in Kirkenes according to your own itinerary. Kirkenes, Norway’s most northern county, shares borders with Russia and Finland. This is also the last stop on Hurtigruten’s northbound voyage along the Norwegian coastline. If you would like to take part in some optional tours, you can try some ice fishing, go on a King Crab Safari where you'll up close to the fascinating king crabs that inhabit the Northern Norwegian coast, or a Snowshoe Tour.

This morning is at your leisure, you'll then move to the Kirkenes Snow Hotel where you'll be staying the night in this winter wonderland. In the morning, it is recommended that you join one of the optional winter excursions: a king crab safari or a snowmobile safari. After lunch, you'll begin your two-hour dog sledding tour. In the evening, you'll enjoy dinner at the cosy on-site restaurant before heading out to catch the Northern Lights.

Morning Sauna and Transfer to Kirkenes or the Hurtigruten pier

In the morning, you can use the sauna to warm up before breakfast. The transfer at 9:00 hrs will bring you back to the hotel in Kirkenes, the Hurtigruten pier or you can book a transfer directly to the airport.
