Start our sightseeing trip with the colourful Nyaung U Market, then onto Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stupa. Following on from the Shwezigon Pagoda we visit a few more beautiful temples, with superb mural paintings of jataka scenes. In the afternoon, we take a trip to the must-visit lacquerware workshop where you will see the artists working on beautiful pieces of lacquerware. Finish the day enjoying the breathtaking sunset view over Bagan.

Start the morning of sightseeing with Lawkananda Pagoda which contains a replica of a Buddha tooth relic. Over the course of the day, we visit many amazing temples that give an idea of the extent of old Pagan in its heyday and the Bagan Archaeological Museum with many models of historic villages and temples. At the end of the day, we watch the sunset on a boat at the Ayeyarwaddy River.

Mount Popa Sightseeing and Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Sale, a town which developed during the late Bagan area. The Yoke Sone Monastery and worth a visit with its exceptional wood carving on the outside of the building. We go and see Mount Popa, which is considered the early power for the mystical world of the Nat spirits and climb up to the top to view the surrounding area. Return back to Bagan for your onward journey.
