Today you'll begin your Amazon tour! At 2pm, you will board the Amazon Clipper and depart upstream on the Rio Negro while you drink a fresh fruit juice and listen to the information about the facilities. After a snack on board, you'll meet in the leisure room for lectures about the Amazon Rainforest and its preservation. After dinner, you will explore little creeks in canoes looking for nocturnal animals with your experience field guide. You may see birds, frogs, snakes, caimans and more!

Continuing on your Amazon tour, today you'll have an early morning rise to explore the surroundings along the water’s edge in your canoes with your guide. You'll mainly find fruit-eating birds like parrots and toucans. Then, you'll go out again for a jungle walk to discover many surprising fragrances, leaves, fruits, kinds of wood and animals. In the afternoon, you will navigate through the Anavilhanas National Park, one of the world’s largest freshwater archipelagos, a labyrinth of waterways.

Day 3

Fishing, Native Community & River Beaches

In the early morning, you will spend a little time fishing for piranhas and other fish. After breakfast, you will visit a native community where you'll find many of the typical Amazonian fruits. You will learn about the preparation of manioc flour and about the health and education of the local’s children. After lunch, you will dock on one white sandy beach to swim in the dark water of Rio Negro and enjoy the Pink River Dolphins. You'll explore by canoe and scout for wildlife in the afternoon.

This morning, you'll head out for an early exploration of the Lago Janauary Ecological Park. This area is usually a very good place to observe wildlife and chances are you will see the giant water lilies. While you have breakfast, the boat will navigate to the "Meeting of the Waters", the confluence of the world’s two largest rivers, the Amazon and the Negro. The boat will return to Manaus around 11.30am where you'll hop in a transfer to the airport where your Amazon tour comes to an end.
