This four-day Norwegian experience starts in Bergen where you'll explore this wooden city which is famous for its colourful and iconic Hanseatic Bryggen Wharf.
In Bergen, you can spend your days taking a ride on the Fløibanen Funicular and also visiting the Troldhaugen, the Fish and Flower Market, the Bergen Aquarium and the Gamle Bergen (Old Bergen Open Air Museum).
You'll then take a short but great overnight excursion from Bergen to Hardangerfjord, the second-largest fjord in Norway famous for its fruit orchards. The contrast created by green hillsides, orchards in blossom and snow-clad mountains is breathtaking.
By train and bus, through attractive farmland, you'll travel to the small village of Ulvik, beautifully located by the Hardangerfjord. The village famously inspired the well-known Norwegian composer, Edvard Grieg, with his famous composition 'Spring'.

Today, you'll arrive in Bergen. Bergen is Norway’s second-largest city and the world’s only city surrounded by seven mountains and seven fjords. The main attractions in Bergen include the Hanseatic Bryggen Harbour, Fløibanen Funicular, Troldhaugen, the Fish and Flower Market, Bergen Aquarium and Gamle Bergen (Old Bergen Open Air Museum) - all of which you can visit today. After breakfast at the hotel, you'll catch the train to Voss, then you'll continue by bus through attractive farmland to the small village of Ulvik, beautifully located by the second-largest fjord, Hardangerfjord, famous for its fruit orchards. The contrast created by green hillsides, orchards in blossom and snow-clad mountains had inspired the well known Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg with his Spring. The afternoon is at your own leisure. Swim, relax or join a guided kayaking trip.

Hardangerfjord Cruise, Eidfjord Sightseeing & Back to Bergen

Today, from Ulvik, you will depart on a cruise across the Hardangerfjord to Eidfjord. Here, you will go on a 2.5 hours sightseeing tour by bus to visit the Hardangervidda Nature Centre and the spectacular Vøringsfossen Waterfall, Norway’s highest waterfall. In the afternoon, the journey continues with a three-hour cruise on the Hardangerfjord to Norheimsund. The last part of the journey is by bus to Bergen, passing the impressive Steindalsfossen Waterfall.
