On arrival at Lusaka airport, our representative will take you to Kiambi Safari Lodge in the Lower Zambezi Valley ready for an unforgettable Zambia safari holiday. Depending on your arrival time you will check-in, have lunch and later in the afternoon, go on a sunset boat cruise.

Canoeing and Camping Safari

Breakfast is at 7.30, followed by a brief run-down of the canoeing trip, dangerous animals, safety measures while on the river and at the campsites, and techniques on canoeing. Departure is from the jetty, proceeding down the river. Stops are made for tea and lunch, which is also set up by the backup boat. In the late afternoon, we reach the campsite at Buffalo Beans, situated on an island to rest and watch the sun go down, keep an eye out for animals at the other side of the river.

Day 3
Full Game Drive Safari in Lower Zambezi National Park

Today you have a mini breakfast early then an early morning cruise to the Chongwe Conference, where you will find an open-sided 4x4. Pay for park entry fees and then get in the vehicle; your guide will give you the briefing. You will enjoy this wonderful park game viewing with stops for breakfast and lunch in the bush. At around 3 pm you return to the Chongwe Confluence and board the boat to the lodge arriving just before dark. Have dinner with an amazing riverview with open skies and stars.

Have breakfast then you will check out of the lodge. Depending on your flight time out of Lusaka, you might have some free time. The driver will take you on a 3.5 hours road transfer to Lusaka International Airport. If your flight is later in the afternoon you will relax or do an optional activity and then have lunch before your departure for Lusaka.
