The Copper Canyon is best explored on a longer trip as it covers over 28,000 square miles, however, if you are very short on time and still want to dip your toe into the canyon system, then this four-day adventure trip will give you a bird's eye view of many different canyons, and an overnight stay in Batopilas, an old silver mining village at the bottom of Batopilas Canyon that normally takes several days to get to traversing the canyons by vehicle.
You'll fly by private charter plane from El Fuerte to Batopilas with a seasoned pilot and your historian guide, soaring over many canyons for exceptional canyon viewing. Then, you'll enjoy the rest of the day sightseeing in Batopilas, along with a private tasting of Sotol and Lechuguilla. The following day, you'll drive up to the upper sierra through four different canyons, with a stop en route for a luxury picnic with regional award winning wine above Urique River at the bottom of Copper Canyon, arriving in the Magic Town of Creel for the night.
You'll be transferred privately to the airport in Chihuahua directly from Creel the following day.

Day 1
Arrive in the Magic Town of El Fuerte

Today, you'll arrive to the Los Mochis, Sinaloa Airport on your own as early as possible so you can enjoy the day. Your driver will then transfer you to the Magic Town of El Fuerte which is 1.5 hours away. Upon arrival, you'll check-in, then you'll have the rest of the day free to enjoy one of the optional activities available at the hotel, or perhaps some downtime at the hotel's rooftop pool. If you have some free time, you can do the optional River Float Tour down the El Fuerte River.

Fly to the Magic Town of Batopilas, Sightseeing Tour & Aqueduct Walk

Today is a day of high adventure! You'll be driven to the airstrip in El Fuerte where you'll board a private flight to Batopilas with your guide. You'll be greeted with some of the most amazing views as you fly over the canyons. Upon arrival in Batopilas, you'll enjoy the rest of the day seeing the sights and sleep tonight at the bottom of Batopilas Canyon at an old restored hacienda.

Return to Upper Sierra, Sightseeing & Canyon Viewing

Today, you'll be driven back up through the four canyons to the Magic Town of Creel in the Upper Sierra, stopping along the way to see Cusarare Waterfall, Lake Arareko, San Ignacio Mission, the Valley of the Mushrooms, Frogs, Monks and traversing four canyons. A deluxe picnic lunch will be served somewhere en route to allow you a full immersion into a delightful day of sightseeing.
