Welcome to Greece! Today you will start your 4-day classical Greece tour, visiting the most interesting cultural and archaeological sites. Your tour will start in Athens, where you will drive along the Attica coastline and treating to beautiful panoramas on the way. Then visit the ancient theatre of Epidaurus and Greece's first capital city, Nafplio. After the tour, you will make your way to Olympia, where you will stay overnight.

This morning you will set off for a tour of the archaeological site of Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the first Olympic Games in 776 B.C. Here you'll visit the temple of Zeus and the temple of Hera and of course the stadium where the games took place. After the tour, you will make the journey to the seaside town of Naupactus for lunch before making your way to Delphi in the afternoon.

After breakfast at your hotel, you'll visit the archaeological site of Delphi. Delphi is perhaps best known for the oracle that was dedicated to Apollo during the classical period. After, you'll reach the village of Arachova, the most bustling winter destination of Greece, standing at 1000 metres. Then you'll drive through central Greece to arrive in Kalambaka, a small traditional town built at the foot of the great Meteora monasteries.

This morning you will visit Meteora and enjoy the impressive scenery of monasteries standing between the earth and the sky atop of huge rocks. You will visit the great monastery of Varlaam and the monastery of St. Stephan, where you will see Christian and Byzantine relics inside. After lunch, you will depart for Athens stopping at Thermopylae where 300 Spartans fought against the Persian soldiers. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Athens in the late afternoon.
