This is one of the most beautiful and fascinating train journeys in the world. From Tende, you'll go for a private hike in the Mercantour National Park with your professional mountain guide and discover the Vallée des Merveilles (Valley of Wonders), one of the most important sites of prehistoric engravings in Europe!

On this morning of your French Riviera tour, you'll head out for another day of hiking and discovering in the majestic Valley of Wonders. With your mountain guide, you'll hunt for some of the 35,000 rock engravings in the heart of the Merveille Valley left by man during the prehistoric ages. You'll also discover the surprising fauna and flora of the Roya High Valley! In the afternoon, you'll descend the mountain and take the train from Tende back to Nice.
