Today your holiday in Zanzibar begins! You'll meet and greet at Zanzibar Airport. You will then be transferred to Dhow Palace Hotel, in Stone Town. The rest of the day is free at your leisure, so you can relax at the hotel or explore the town on your own. The choice is yours.

Stone Town City Tour and Spice Tour

After breakfast, you will leave your hotel with your guide for Stone Town city tour which is a walking tour that takes you through fabled Stone Town. After the tour, you will have a little free time for lunch, and then you will depart for the Spice Tour. The history of Zanzibar would be incomplete without the cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper and many other spices which are the essential ingredients in a local's everyday life and today, you will learn all about them.

Prison Island Tour

After having breakfast at your hotel, you will be collected for your Prison Island tour. You will catch a traditional Dhow sailing boat to get there which will be an experience in itself. The island offers excellent snorkelling, a beautiful and quiet white sandy beach and a giant turtle sanctuary and a coral rag forest. You'll tour the island, learn about its history and spend a good deal of time playing in the water and on the beach.
