This morning, you'll drive into the Uruguayan countryside to the Juanico Winery. Considered one of the largest and most famous wineries in the country, it combines modern technologies with colonial beauty. The first vines were planted in 1835, and the area’s soils, climate, and temperatures are ideal for different grapes like Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. As you visit the winery, admire its state-of-the-art processing machinery and end your tour with a wine tasting guided by an oenologist.

Montevideo Tour & Lunch at Bouza Winery Tour

This morning, head into Montevideo for a city tour. The main points of interest for your tour will be in the Historic City Center, among them Plaza de Constitucion with the Cathedral and the Colonial Town Hall. You will also see the magnificent Solis Theatre and Independence Square. Then, in the afternoon, you'll head out on a wine tour to Bouza Winery including a visit to the vineyards, an orientation tour of the process, a wine tasting of the different varieties and a delicious lunch.
