After checking in, you'll have the rest of the day free to spend as you wish. Today after breakfast, you'll set out into the city with a local guide to explore the old city of Dubrovnik with its fantastic defence wall. The walls, which are the highlight, if not the main event, of Dubrovnik, encircle the city running in a 1.9-kilometre uninterrupted stretch. It is one of the best defence walls still standing today. As well as visiting other highlights of Dubrovnik like the Franciscan Monastery, you'll wander along a section of the wall.

Hop over to Montenegro

Today, you'll take a drive into Montenegro. You'll head to the Bay of Kotor, a beautiful UNESCO-listed area surrounded by medieval towns. One of the towns is Kotor, which overlooks the bay. With your guide, you'll explore Kotor old town, enjoying the breathtaking view of the magnificent scenery of the Bay of Kotor. You'll then enjoy a comfortable boat ride through Kotor, Tivat and Herceg Novi Bay to the Mamula Island, Our Lady of the Rock and Perast.
