Upon arrival in Cairo, you'll be assisted through passport control formalities and luggage identification by your guide. Then, from the airport, you will be transferred by a private air-conditioned car or minibus to your hotel to check-in. After checking in, the rest of the day will be free for you to spend as you wish. You may want to relax at your hotel after your journey or head out into the vibrant chaos of Cairo to explore on your own.

Day 2
Explore the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx

Today, you will visit the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx at the Giza Plateau, just outside of Cairo. Following a locally-guided tour, revelling in the stories that surround these magnificent landmarks, you'll have plenty of time to capture the best photos. You'll also have the chance to take a photo with the Sphinx - a must when in Cairo! Back in the city, you'll be able to spend the evening as you wish.

Alexandria Day Tour

Today, you will be picked up and driven 220 kilometres across the Western Desert from Cairo to the city of Alexandria, the bride of the Mediterranean Sea. It will take about three hours to reach and upon arrival, you will visit the Montazah Palace which was originally built in 1892. You'll then visit the Citadel of Qaitbay which was built around 1480, Pompey's Pillar which was built in 297 AD in gratitude to Emperor Diocletian and the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa.
