Trip Overview

Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda's second-largest park with an expanse of Savannah grassland stretching along the horizon. There is an abundance of wildlife to view including lion, hippo, buffalo, elephant and a large variety of bird species.

During your four days here, you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel with views of wildlife as they quench their thirst. As well as a series of game drives, you'll also go chimp tracking in the Kyambura Gorge and you will surely be fascinated by the sight of these amazing human closest wild relation.

Day 1

Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you'll meet your guide/driver who will welcome and brief you on the tour. Thereafter, you'll depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive should take approximately six to seven hours excluding the lunch break time. Your lunch is en route at Agip Motel Mbarara. You'll then proceed to the beautiful Queen Elizabeth National Park and check into your accommodation in time for dinner.

Day 2

Queen Elizabeth National Park Game Drive & Kazinga Boat Trip

This morning, you'll get up early and have your breakfast. You'll then head out for a morning game drive in the park and be on the look for lions, elephants, leopards (though a rare sighting), cape bushbuck and cape buffalos among others. You'll return to your lodge for some rest and lunch. After lunch, you will go out on a two-hour boat trip on the Kazinga Channel which connects lakes, George and Edward. You will have dinner at your lodge in the evening.

Day 3

Chimp Tracking in Kyambura Gorge & Crater Drive

Chimp Tracking in Kyambura Gorge & Crater Drive

Your day starts with an early breakfast. Then, you'll head out for the chimp tracking experience in Kyambura Gorge which is home to habituated chimpanzees plus other primates and bird species. You'll spend the early part of the day tracking chimpanzees and return to your lodge for lunch. Later on, you'll go out to explore the crater region for spectacular views of the breathtaking scenery in and around the national park before returning to your lodge to relax and enjoy dinner.

Today concludes your beautiful Uganda vacation. You'll have a relaxed breakfast and thereafter, you'll hit the road to Entebbe Airport. On the way, you'll have lunch at Agip Motel Mbarara and arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon/evening.
